The best spot to take photos with the Chicago skyline is free, a beautiful walk to get to this point, it is very windy and my tripod fell several times but the photos I took left me too happy, with a snack and a coffee enjoy the sunset. Bring a jacket because it is the area of Chicago where I felt the coldest.

Street areas used to be accessible very late. Since Covid cut off of the Lakefront there are now signs and patrols cutting the area off at 11. Might be 10?
After 10pm street parking is free. You can stand on the street take some pictures and drive away, you can not take long space without paying parking.
