Best place to eat would definitely be Giordanos. Not sure when it comes to shopping, I didn't see many options when I was there.
Lot of renovations going on at the moment so not a lot there
If it's food, Giordana's. If it's views, the end of the pier. If it's sweet treats, Molly's Cupcakes.
Harry Casey's for food and drink.
Somewhere else. Navy Pier had little to offer.
Jordan's pizza
If you have childrenjjj the Chicago Childrens museum is awesome. The Ferris wheel has excellent views of the city. The dinner cruises are fun but a little pricey. For food I recommend Bubba Gump Shrimp.
Centennial Wheel is the best. Giordano's is a great place to eat.
