That's the administration building for what used to be a toll plaza. In the wake of 9/11, about 5 years after the airport opened, they completely redid the parking strategy to charge you as you exited the lot, rather than a massive toll plaza. They also did away with the hour of free parking for people picking up a passenger. All that remains of the 30 lane toll plaza is that building.
You can get on a flight with no id.. You just have to go through extra security and wait time.. Bit of a hassle but possible.. Have done it a few times myself..
Not really know which side your airline is going to be on either Terminal East or West there are 3 security checkpoints either by the bridge or on level 5 North security or South security. These 2 options you will have to catch the train to your gates Concourse A B or C. Also if you get lost or overwhelmed look for the DIA courtesy help they wear light blue vest with blue cowboy hats.
Denver Airport doesn't determine the prices for air travel to different destinations. You will need to check with various airlines and booking websites to find the right choice for you.
Be careful who you chose we used Payless and they kept our $800 deposit I understand deposits however never getting it back is bs rental car itself was great even upgraded free due to availability
Right now it is masks only, in the U. S., however, international destinations can/may have their own mandate for proof of vaccination or a negative test result.
Easiest way to explain Denver international airport is that you landed either b or c concourse you get on that underground train that takes you to the first concourse you ride the underground subway train to take you back to the main terminal which is at 8:00 not sure if you have to switch Gates or anything like that so when you get off the plane go right to the United desk and ask them if you're going to need a connecting flight a different area but go right to the United
The airlines don't do Covid testing, but they will check your temp and requires a mask. There is covid test at the airport, but you will have to pay for it like anywhere else.
Yes, by actual land size. DIA covers roughly 55 square miles. It is the 3rd largest, by land size, in the world. As for passenger count, it's #5 in the US but comes behind the likes of ORD, IAH, and ATL. It is up there in daily operations as well but not the top. Maybe one day DIA will move to a "superhub" status.
Contact Groome shuttle service to book a trip from DIA to the Springs. There may be others too but this is the only one I know of. Here is the link to check schedule etc

not much at airport or around. best is denver but its not close. you may like this https://thepointsguy.com/2015/04/layover-lowdown-denver-international-airport/.
I know you can request assistance as close as when you check in for your flight, so someone can be waiting at the gate for you. When I was there most everything was closed for construction so you might wanna check that
To get to Avis at the airport, take the train to Baggage Claim. When you get off the train, you'll see numbers on the doors leading outside. Go through either Door 510 or Door 512 and catch an Avis bus. It will take you to the Avis rental center. The trip takes about 7 minutes or so.
HOW LONG IS THE FLIGHT FROM FLORIDA TO DENVER, TICKET VALUE, THANK YOU.

It lasts approximately 5 to 6 hours. The price can be around $500 round trip but that depends on the airline
Is there a procedure to file a claim for damage done to luggage?
william Coutermash | Sep 17, 2022
Cherilyn Jones | Sep 17, 2022
Yes, with the airline directly at the airport, and should be asap, and no more than 24 hours later. Each carrier has their own policy which you can find on their website.
Denver is HUGE and it will depend on your airline and what terminal you land in and will leave from. They have a subway like system and buses. As long as you have 1 hour from deplaning to your next flight you should be fine.
If the bags were screened for an inbound U.S. flight then it is likely they will keep chain of security custody and just xfer the bags to the connection.
They would have to exit the secured area and visit you in the main terminal/ great hall. Then they would use their boarding pass to get back to their gate. Otherwise you would have to purchase a ticket to get into the secured area.
Yes, two hours is quite a long time. You have to take the train to the next terminal of your flight and it is located very close to the immigration exit
Those 2 gates are in different "wings" of concourse B - one is to the left of the train and the other 2 the right...will take about 15 -20 minutes to walk
When you make your reservation just put on there that she's wheelchair-bound and needs assistance from the gate to the plane and from the plane to the gate and they will put that on her ticket and then when you drop her off all you have to do is let one of the quarters know that she needs a wheelchair and they will get it for her and take her but she needs to go all the way through security and everything
Yes theres always some one that can help . Airport personal are always ready to help and assist in navigating around the airport and getting to your flight.
They have accessibility parking in their east and west parking garage. And they have a meet and assist policy where they will come meet you and help you.
You will walk your butt off to puff on something you should be giving up but yes there is a smoking area..between the altitude and the concourse walking..enjoy...
That's correct the concourse area is the passenger pick up and there's several levels but level 4 is the passagers level and level 5 is for all baggage claim
There is a shuttle train that transport you from terminal to terminal the terminals are alphabetical ABC and the announcer or the conductor clearly communicates the terminal letters and the stops so you should be well informed to what terminal you need to depart and or arrive
As long as your connecting on the same airlines you are fine as the terminals are the same for connecting airlines. May be a good 10-15 min walk. Otherwise good luck.
Alot depends in the age of the child. Younger children don't usually require ID of any sort. But always bring guardianship documents with you. Just in case
Knives
Carry On Bags: No
Checked Bags: Yes
Except for plastic or round bladed butter knives.
Any sharp objects in checked bags should be sheathed or securely wrapped to prevent injury to baggage handlers and inspectors.
There is only one place or departures and another place for her arrival. If you go to departures you can only park there for 5 minutes at curity makes you move right away. Spend more time with them park in the parking garage
Denver was voted best domestic airport in a poll by business flyers. And I agree. Just got back from a trip through Denver Buffalo Philadelphia as and Phoenix The day I flew from Buffalo to Phoenix via Philadelphia, where we had a mechanical problem and had to switch planes after we boarded, my step counter said I walked 4 miles that day and much of that was in the Philadelphia airport carrying my luggage. Flying out of Phoenix, I was on Concourse D. But they closed TSA on that concourse, so I had to go through TSA on Concourse C, then walk to D with my luggage. Denver has TSA for all 3 concourses before you go to any concourse via a very fast train. Very well designed! No walking a tunnel at OHare where I had to go from C to F (a 17 minute walk my United app told me on my way to Buffalo. Denver is a world class, modern airport.
Depending on what your boarding number is depends on what you can carry on. I'd buy a carry on bag anyways. You are allowed one "personal" item and then the carry on. I would put the hard hat in a backpack with the boots if you can. If not, wear it on.
Didnt see any International flights on the boards yet. Probably best to check airport as to when they will allow international flights in and then check which airline is scheduling flights
Probably not as police & security would find that as a threat since they couldn't keep up ;). Also there are crowds & a lot of people with luggage moving around so a skateboard in that environment would be hazardous.
On the top floor of concourse A, at the north end of the bridge from the terminal. If you go through the bridge TSA checkpoint and keep walking to concourse A instead of going down to the train, you'll see it.
You ll be at Concourse C. Catch the train to terminal. Follow the signs to baggage claim.
Check online www.flighview.com put your flight info it ll tell you baggage claim number
The tricky answer is that airports and airplanes are federal property. And weed is illegal federally. Another user mentioned a medical card. That's also not recognized by our federal government.
Can't answer in French. But yes you will need a temporary Visa, to travel here, to Denver International Airport, if your planning to stay for a long period of time.
The cold won't affect the flights coming or going. Only the buildup of ice on the wings and that only happens under certain conditions (like yesterday 10/29) where the ice builds on the wings so quickly that the deicer can't work.

Irene Bartram | Oct 18, 2019
Heather Chow (Prius) | Oct 18, 2019
The pet relief rooms are conveniently located post-security in the center cores of A, B and C Gates. Also, there is a pre-security outdoor pet relief area located just outside door 200 on the west side of the Jeppesen Terminal. All pet relief areas are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The terminal is on the west side with representatives snow covered peaks. Or the locals called the circus tent.
Concourse B are the gates. All accessed via the train.
Plenty of shops, restaurants if you're hungry.
Good luck
Miss McCormick here's some information I had found. But I always suggest that you do your own research.
Super Shuttles is one of the premier Denver airport shuttle services that can transport you. ... Sir, can we expect direct international flights from Denver to New Delhi (India) in near future?
Shyamlal Upadhyay | Oct 18, 2019
Thomas Martin | Oct 18, 2019
You will need to contact airlines but I dont think they would be able to do such a long flight from dia to New Delhi because of the distance the airplane would not be able to carry enough fuel on board for such a long distance flight.
Here is some research to your question Miss Sanchez: Please feel free to do more research.

I normally use the pikes peak or my elbert lots. $8/day and there is a shuttle that runs every few min to the terminal that takes about 5-10 minutes. There are other off site lots with shuttles too though. And if you dont mind paying out the nose you can park in the lots attached to the Airport.
What you will need to do is set up ahead of time Miss Tammy by calling the airport. Usually they do have people set up already but just in case I would call in advance.
It is quite big airport, if your changeover flight is in different terminal, you need to have minimum 30 mins in your hand to reach other departure terminal.
There are shuttle buses outside the baggage claim that will take you to the rental car building. Look for the shuttle bus that has the name of your rental car company on its side
When I was there I did not see a place to leave your things. I did not see a locker or another place. You should check with your airline, as they would know more.
I will be at the airport for about 7 hours. Are there desks or areas where I can work and plug in a laptop? I will be departing from Concourse A but I don't mind going elsewhere if need be.

Yes. USO Denver at Denver International Airport, Concourse A, North End of A Gates Bridge (3rd floor) from Jeppesen Terminal. Next door to the American Airlines Club. Location is in the secure side of the terminal, must pass TSA screening checkpoint to access.
Here is some information from fly Denver's website on their checkpoint security.
Terminal North TSA checkpoint - 4 a.m.-ish to approx. 9 p.m.
Terminal South TSA checkpoint - open 24 hours a day
A Bridge TSA checkpoint - 4:30 a.m.-ish to approx. 6 p.m.

Around 506 I think. Due to circumstance, bags will not always be delivered to the same carousel every flight. You should be able to find a layout map of the terminal on the airports website. Presently there is more construction at the terminal than normal so you may have to take some detours to get to baggage claim.
it's a non smoking facility. you can only outside the airport: https://www.flydenver.com/traveler_services/smoking_den. however this does mean exiting and having to recross security... it is much better for all not smoking at all there or anywhere else. .
Only a few might operate all night. Depends on the concourse.

Are you able to bring your vape on a plane if you keep it in your pocket? And what about dipping tobacco?
If your security ID badge has expired than you will need to go through the entire security badging process again. Fingerprinting, testing and background checks. A few weeks of you not being able to work.
Sorry but if your badge has expired and you employer is not aware you better tell then asap... you have most likely just lost your job.

Is there affordable transport from terminal to hotels downtown?

All imaginable forms of transport to downtown is available. Larger hotels have their own shuttle service, there's a light rail train, taxis and ride-sharing (Lyft, Uber).
In recent years I've found Lyft to be the most reliable and least expensive way to get around town in Denver.

Mail drop boxes can be found on the center core of A Gates (northwest corner), on B Gates in the center core, and on C Gates on the mezzanine level, and on Level 6, northwest of Jeppesen Terminal

My daughter's plane was late arriving.she missed the connecting flight. Will she have to pay extra through a different airline.
Laurie Palmer | Oct 18, 2019
Tor Parker | Oct 18, 2019
It's up to each airline to decide their rates and fees, of which there are usually fees in place for such things. Check with her airline or the 3rd party tickets were purchased thru, such as Expedia, Travelocity, etc.
If you have a ATP pilots license and a first class medical you might be able to get a job with an airline. Otherwise you probably cant go veoom vroom here.
There's always something to do at Denver International Airport (DEN). Never worry about being stuck there awhile. I recommend the New Belgium Brewery's The Hub, located around the corner past the highest numbered B gates. The open at 6am and serve breakfast.
You really should call your airline, but if you actually have no choice but to be at the airport so early, the worst that could happen is they tell you to come back closer to your flight time. In that case, there are many lounges and food options inside the Main Terminal where you can wait comfortably until the appropriate check-in time.
Both are incorrect. There's no such thing as "Terminal A, B, or C" There's the Main Terminal, where there are no airline-specifc lounges. Then there are Concourses A, B, and C. United has a presence at both Concouses A and B, however both of its lounges are located in Concourse B--one on each side.
Do y’all know what all I need to get to my flight? I’m almost 20 and flying alone and have no idea what I’m doing 😂
They say on the tickets (I got them online) that I just need my itinerary and an ID, but idk if I can just use the online one.

Yum no not really. Only hair. I also dont think there is a nail salon in the whole airport. The kiosks are lil too small. Im here everyday and havent seen one
What car rental companies are located in the airport? I am looking so we don't have to take a shuttle at all. Never been to this airport. Ate there any that you don't need a shuttle? Thank you.

I rented a car the other day but I had to shuttle to it. To my knowledge there are no rental companies inside the airport, you mist shuttle to them.
There's just one terminal. Go to the 6th floor where you'll check in, then 5th floor where you'll go through security, then you take the train to Concourse A, that's where the A gates are at.
Yep and the train is about every 15.min..and will bring you anywhere and back.. only a couple bucks! Also the party bus is a cool experience if you like the Denver High feeling make lots of new interesting friends and you can smoke and drink all you want and I'll bring you whatever you want to go and be dropped off 17 hours you can "burn"a half a day with some awesome people and memories to take home with you!

I was told its against security regulations... So its not possible
Baggage Claim at Denver International Airport is located in Jeppesen Terminal, on Level 5, at both the east and west sides (Terminal East and Terminal West), depending on airline. Level 5 is the same level where passengers arrive after they travel from their airline gates to Jeppesen Terminal on the automated people-mover train, which connects all concourses (A, B and C) and the terminal.
According to TSA information dated 7/10/2018, you may bring medically necessary liquids, medications and creams in excess of 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters in your carry-on bag. Remove them from your carry-on bag to be screened separately from the rest of your belongings. You are not required to place your liquid medication in a plastic zip-top bag. If a liquid, gel, or aerosol declared as medically-necessary alarms, then it may require additional screening and may not be allowed.
You can take fruit onto aircraft on International flights, but it must be consumed before you leave the aircraft. You cannot bring fruits and vegetables into foreign countries. Oblivously domestic flights are fine.
I am arriving at Concourse C, Gate 39 on Friday, June 29 at 5:30 PM. I have a connecting flight at Concourse A at 7:00 PM.

You will need to ask the security people. In all of the airports I've been in, security would not allow people without boarding passes to the gates but you have a different situation with a minor.
Do they have a Starbucks
Mary Rossi | Oct 18, 2018
夜未明 | Oct 18, 2018
Yes, there's a Starbucks near the gate B60. You can easily find it use Google maps.
You can accompany her up to the security checkpoint. We went through with our daughters. (12 and 17) without issue. If your friend has an ID, taking it will only help her out.
Security moves swiftly at the terminal but They recommend 2hr & considering that Denver always runs late one way or another I'd stick with that to be safe.
I doubt it is the airports fault. Often all the gates allocated to an airline are full because one or two flights were delayed and it just gets worse as the day goes by...
Most likely a 20 min wait at security. If you arent checking bags then 1.5 hours should be fine. Unless you are traveling with kids, in which case plan for 2 hours.
Your checkin will be dependent on the airline..usually on the 5th level departure. Then u head straight to the counter. They'll weigh your bag..then you go down to TSA for check in..the rest is not hard.
What do you have for service dogs to relief themself

Somebody else had the same question earlier today. Generally, with a doctor's note, they will let you fly early into your third trimester. I'm not exactly sure how many weeks that would be. You're going to have to discuss that with your OB.
You can although you wont enjoy it very much. Ive been stuck and had to sleep overnight in many airports. I use the term "sleep" very loosely. Good luck!
From the website: Location
USO Denver at Denver International Airport, Concourse A, North End of A Gates Bridge (3rd floor) from Jeppesen Terminal. Next door to the American Airlines Club. Location is in the secure side of the terminal, must pass TSA screening checkpoint to access.
They say 2 hours, but I make it 3. You never know what traffic jams or other problems will arise before your flight, so I like a buffer of an extra hour. If you wind up with extra time, have a nice meal and do some people-watching.
The correct answer:
There is not a Left Luggage (storage) service anywhere at the Denver International Airport.
Airport Luggage Centre in the Jeppessen Terminal is only a retail shop selling luggage. They previously offered a storage service but no longer do so.
This information is no longer available on the airport website and the telephone customer service disavows any knowledge of whether the service exists on airport.
Once you get off the plane, look for what looks like big TV screens near your gate. The sign above then will say "Arrivals" or "Departures." You want "Departures." Look for the city you're headed to, look at the United entry and your flight number and it will tell you what gate your connecting flight will be at, then head to that gate. It's always scary the first time you fly, but try not to worry, you'll be fine. As other people have said, if you have any problems, just find a uniformed United employee at any of the gates and tell them you need help. Have a happy flight and Happy Birthday :)
Taking light rail from airport to downtown Denver is a safe bet lots to do way more than you can on short layover would recommend getting off 16th St mall for dining maybe check out Rino district .
I've flown with my children to and from this airport since they were babies and have never been asked to show their birth certificates- they are teenagers now and all the agents/security ever do is ask them their names to verify their identity.
Look up policy for allowable liquids I think the limit is 3.4 oz. Such as a travel size container. Make sure it is in a zip lock plastic bag. You are allowed several of these containers not sure if there is a limit.
If someone was flying on standby would you be able to tell someone if they departed when their luggage did or if they had to be held over for a much later flight?
A Google User | Oct 18, 2018
Bald Guy | Oct 18, 2018
When I fly standby, I don't check luggage. I only use carry ons.
If you check your luggage on a flight, the luggage leaves whether you're on the flight or not.
If you have to take the next flight, your luggage will be waiting for you. (Your luggage will be at the original flight's destination.)
You can park in short term lot ($4 per hour) on the same level as arrival (4) and meet them at the baggage claim or at the arrival location in the center of the terminal.
If you don't want to park, you can drive to the cell phone lot which is about 3 or so miles from the airport and wait for the passenger to call you once they have received their bags. Drive to the airport and pick them up from level 4. Make sure you know which side of airport their baggage is. It depends on airlines. The passenger can tell you which side (east or west). You can drive to the correct side accordingly.

If it is a flight you have booked you will most likely find the info link in your email. If you are searching for info on a flight for other reasons you can find a fully updated flight guide on the airport website with landing and take off times and luggage rules. There is a procedure s list for picking up and dropping off.
Both of these items should be fine in your carry-on or checked bag. I have never had issues taking Aleve, even when the bottle has been opened prior to my flight. Snacks may be subjected to xray scanning, opening or at times may not pass into another county. However there are very few rules against packaged food. Fresh foods need to be checked.
You can but expect to be flagged by TSA and get the full search when you go through security. Buying an airline ticket on the same day is considered a security red flag.
I agree with Joanna. United is Terminal B. The terminals cross the path of the train;then you go either left or right depending on the number of your gate. If you are close to where the train let's you off you will have a short distance. If your gate is far from the train exit it can take as long as 15 minutes to get there, depending on how fast you walk, how much baggage you are dragging, how crowded the terminal is and how many companions you are coaxing along.
Yes. If you lost yours, for domestic flights TSA is able to let you fly at their discretion but you should plan to arrive two hours earlier with as much documentation of your identity as possible and find TSA to submit for an interview.
Denver is laid out wonderfully for maximum traffic. Follow signs for hotel, rental car and other shuttles. They pick up and drop off on top level of Terminal West.
Direct travelors have separate arrival and departure levels, doubled by having both East and West access terminals.
United Airlines anchors terminal West (side towards mountains) with other smaller foreign airlines. Frontier airlines anchors terminal East with most other domestic carriers.
Please give a thumbs up if this was helpful.
Unless you are somewhere international that requires a visa to enter, you can exit and reenter the airport. But like Sarah said, allow yourself time to go through security again.
I live in Denver, and fly in and out of DIA all the time. It is a very easy airport to navigate.
After going through security, you do get on a train that stops at each terminal. It's more like a shuttle back and forth between terminals.
All you need to know is which terminal your airline leaves out of, then get off at that stop. When you get to the top of the escalator, there are TVs with flight information.
There are volunteers all around the airport that are willing to help you with directions. You'll be fine.
I'm flying out of DIA again on the 9th also.
Coming in on united oct 5th to medford oregon... Have a 58 minute layover is it hard to find my other flight on united... Never flew before so im not sure what to do
If you are referring to the mechanical safety of the buses, that would likely be a division of the airport. If you mean safety from terror threat, I dont know but know but I doubt the TSA's responsibility extends that far.
If you're not wanting to leave the airport and have to go through security again, the center of the airport is a decent shopping mall. There's food places set up throughout the airport as well.
