In order for a minor to fly alone, you pay the airline a little more. And an airline employee will take your kid into the airplane and turn your child over to the responsibility of the flight attendant. The flight attendant will make sure your child is okay during flight. The child is then turned over to the party responsible for picking them up after landing.
