I visit this cemetery because my parents are buried here. It is also the resting place as well of several neighbors, friends and members of my parish. Catholics consider cemeteries to be holy ground and it is a place for prayer. It is a place that holds many memories, some are bittersweet but some are comforting as well. Although I have cried many a tear here, I have found beauty and healing in the flowers and the many angels among the monuments.

This is the resting grounds of my mother's side of the family and because they were Catholic well my relatives reside here

The staff at St. Mary Cemetery is so great. Their cemetery, although old, also is in the midst of a renovation so it's location with a view over the bay makes for a beautiful cemetery.
