Get Super Crowded - MAKE YOUR RESERVATION IN ADVANCE!!! The venue itself is rather small and crowded, which is why it gets a 4, but it is still worth it. It is a great place to take some spectacular photos. It is fun during the day but at night the ice lights up and it gives it a whole different experience. General Admission gets you into the venue where there is a small gift shop, an option to purchase sleight rides and a small food/drink counter. There is a small wooded path lit up with lights that is fun to stroll. In the ice castle itself is a large slide that you can slide down for free, but you will probably have to wait in a long line. It is brief but worth it. The tunnel lights up at night. Driving here is a must as it is a bit out of town. Parking can be super difficult to come by as well. Dress for warmth, it gets extremely cold, especially at night! Port-a-johns are available at the venue. What to wear - Snow clothes! If you slide the small slides or sit anywhere in the castle you will be cold and wet. Waterproof shoes are also highly recommended as it can be snowy and slushy at the venue. WORTH IT!!!!!
Fred Brissette, Jr.
The Ice Castle was absolutely beautiful. Make sure you dress for the weather. We'll worth the experience.
Prakash Kumar
Good parking space Definitely carry extra clothing layer. It gets cold Great place for both kids and adult Snow tubing, horse carriage riding(extra, not included in ticket) through jungle. Walking through forest with lighting were the best part. Have lot of fun activities and cool spots to take photos Portabt toilet were there. Recommend tickets in advance.
Steve Fishburn
Kids had a blast. Make sure to bundle up because it can get much colder than the outside temperature. Snow boots, snow bibs, and face covering recommended. Lines were never that long.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
When do you open for business? What times of the day are you open? How much does this cost? Do we need reservations?
Until the weather no longer supports it. Usually when it's nearing the end, the website will list an end date.
Give them a call they are always SUPER friendly and helpful
Awesome experience if ur able to go its worth the drive and at night was beautiful
I wouldn't say they would have any issues with him. But i would consider that the entire walk through inside the ice castle is covered in snow. It is very uneven terrain that you march through a few inches of snow, and ice crystals will build up and be sticking to your boots. You should wear insulated boots, we all did except my daughter, who just wore uggs and her feet were freezing after 20 minutes. I wonder how the dog's feet will feel?
You have to check back later. They only post so many weeks at a time because they don't know when the season will end. Check back in a week or 2.
They suggest sleds for children instead of strollers. Perhaps this would work for her.
Yes. There is an ice slide kids enjoy. The walking is no problem.
Maybe you can book a time next year. As someone said it has been too warm and the castle is melting so periodically it is closed. They usually start in January and go till early March (depending on weather). I plan to book a trip in January 2023 before it starts to melt. My husband and I had nice time wandering around the castle enjoying the interesting formations and watching all the kids having a good time. We were there about 2 hours.
Fill form
Only choice is after 4
Yes u can, I just took my 2 year old and she had a blast sliding on the ice ....
I never been in there February break but last I checked only on weekends is higher price.
No dogs. We bought ours on line a head of time. And on the weekend for 21 dollars a peice
20.99 during weekends and 16.99 during weekdays for adults. For kids, 15.99 during weekends and 11.99 during weekdays
online or at the door
When it's cold outside and snow
No mot that i know of
It will NOT be at the Hobo Railroad this year. They have a new location in North Woodstock.
c
Night is our favorite
I go with children, and we're usually inside about 30-45 minutes. There are a lot of nooks and crannies for the kids to explore.
Tomorrow, January 5th.
We had to pay, then there was no paid parking. "They are refunding parking".
Not until the 5th.
Yes there is a wooden bench to sit on its long.
They haven't announced, yet. All they've said is late December/early January.
Tickets aren't available, yet, so I'd say no.
I do not think so. but for more security I advise you to enter their website
It's open just went last night
Online it says that they are open, if they were to close it would not stay open for the winter season it would say closed due to weather conditions.
I ALSO VISITED THE PLACE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER A WEEK AGO AND I AM GOING TO TELL YOU THAT WE DID A 4HRS DRIVE JUST TO BE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PLACE IS NOTHING LIKE ITS SAYING ON THE WEBSITE LET DOWN FOR SURE NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND TRAVEL FOR THIS PLACE
I could not find a phone number. On Saturday 2/12/2022 they were closed because of the warm weather but reopened by the time we went on Tuesday 2/15/2022. So check the web site when the temperature drops again. Or all the dates and times might be filled. We originally wanted to go to Lake George but there were no days available. That is why we made the trip to New Hampshire.
That previous answer is correct
Lincoln NH straight up 93
It says on their website sales are final/no refunds & non-transferable
I suspect that they're not going to offer March 1st until they get closer to the date. Things can begin melting earlier than we would like. Attempting to call them would likely be a good idea.
I think he's free. Don't bring a stroller.
Call
Check their website for updates regarding weather conditions.
I believe ice castle tickets are non refundable or non transferable
There's a ton to do so I'd plan on at least an hour and a half!
Some spots are very snowy and not easily accessible, while some areas are perfectly leveled flat. There are no stairs and all inclines are very shallow. Depending on your accessibility needs some or most of castle facilitate would be available from one side or another. I got lost a couple of times even though the place is small. But it was super cold that the brain freezes 🥶. The heater (one) is not handicap accessible due to the area it is installed in and it's height.
The dates they have posted are the dates it will be open. Weather dependent.
Always better to go later. It continues to grow and is much bigger and better.
In 2022 it is 20$ weekdays 27$ weekends and holidays plus steep credit card useage fees.
In New Hampshire they open MLK weekend and close Presidents weekend
Hey Hector negron. Your post on Google about the Nike outlet in Somerville was wrong. You said you'd rather go to the one on assembly row. Well the Nike outlet in Somerville is on assembly row I think you're thinking of a different one
Sold out. We tried to reschedule with nothing else available
We got in last night no problem. Even though signs said sold out!
We went last Saturday and there were people in line without tickets. I think they have an email for questions like this. I know they dont have a phone.
Pretty sure tickets have to be bought online during time slots only. This is how they are controlling the number of people per covid. We went this past week.
Check the website but they might be sold out.
Not true they're open
I don't think there is refund, but best to check with their website. We went on the coldest day and it wasn't fun in my opinion. So try to go on a bad weather day if possible
No
Anytime online
There was a link in the email that gave you the option to change the date. Near the bottom
There are "blinking lights" on the path through the forest. No strobe lights but laser dot lights. They can make some people feel dizzy.
If March tickets are not available yet, my only guess would be that they wait until the dates are closer for weather purposes. I purchased tickets for the 16th but due to warmer temperatures, they notified me two days prior that the event was canceled for that day so they could rebuild the castles. We were able to get in on the 18th with our original tickets with no issues. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
19.99 weekdays and 24.99 weekends
Yeah
You dont
There are caves that you can crawl through that are fun. I'd wear snow pants for sure.
Yes you can. You just can't go in before the time slot you picked. Make sure you got snow boots, pants gloves, the whole 9 yards. Lol hope thos helped.
Just keep checking on the website, it seems like the ticket all sold out until Feb29.
The end of next month unless the weather gets to warm
Best thing to do is to go online and or call them
It is sold out for the season but if you go to the website it will explain about standby tickets. They're not guaranteed and you may have a longer wait time. I believe the prices are also higher.
Before I went on 2/8 it said they were sold out. Standby may be the only hope, and that's not likely, sorry.
Hello, on a season with great weather we'll be open until March 10th. But we do often close before then if it gets too warm. My recommendation is to try and go as soon as possible. March and late February are very weather dependent.
the tickets I think are only online but I'm not sure and it's only an attraction the castles of thread there is no other show
We 'suited up' in our van in the carpark before entering, which worked well. By the end of the evening, our feet felt cold after walking on the cold ice chipped ground. Some people had sleds to pull their kids along on. I can't imagine they'd prohibit backpacks.
i doubt it. they'll find a spot for you on side.
Both Robert and Karen are correct, sleigh ride is within the Castle itself. The gift shop is as well as concessions. The exit is clearly marked and once through that you aren't allowed to enter.
Go to their website and it will let you know. Pretty sure it is though, gonna take a while to melt
Names were not checked, you should be fine
Sleigh ride purchase can be made after admission
There is a phone number listed. I am not sure but you might try that.
No
Seems open
Not sure. Check the website.
I suggest that you order tickets for sometime in February because this place is hard to get near around this time. You should also order tickets at least in a month advance but if its for a important event for you or you and your family then try to order tickets for those dates, best of luck!
Not open Monday to my knowledge.
I would call and ask them specifically that question I believe the spots are only to hold parking place As parking is limited
I would recommend calling the customer service
You would have to call them in order to do that.
Both, unless they are sold out
This isnt ice castles this Is Google. Ticket availability and prices you have to go to their website or facebook page
Yes
Yes they have one as you exit
https://icecastles.com/new-hampshire
This is not ice castles its Google. Need to check their website or their facebook page to find out prospective open dates and ticket prices but no they are not.
Nope they are not open yet
You can buy on the website, but I think the website star to sell the tickets Opening early January. Dates and hours are weather dependent. Website: https://icecastles.com/new-hampshire And never go there without buying tickets there are never tickets available, They always say everything is full for this week.
There not open yet
Nope there not opened yet.
This is Google not ice castles directly and I believe the prices change. You would have to check their website or facebook page for up to date rates and opening date
Date has nothing to do with it. Its fully controlled by mother nature. These are literally man made ice structures that require many days of sustained cold weather to create. And this is not ice castles this is Google. These questions dont go to ice castles. You will have to follow their website or their fb page for updates on when they are able to open.
You must check on their website.
Tickets are not on sale yet as the opening has not been set. I'm not sure in years past they have been open that early. Best to watch then on fb
You will have to watch their fb site or website for opening times. This isnt icecastles this is Google. It doesnt go directly to them. But it is weather permitting because they are literally man made ice creations. So need plenty of sustained cold weather to create them. I dont think they will be open soon
No to warm..
???? I cant make sense of this message but this isnt ice castles directly this is Google. Ticket availability and pricing would have to be asked to ice castles directly and most likely after they are able to open which is weather permitting. They have a facebook site, ice castles of nh, that would be best place to check for info on when they are able to open and theres link to ticket purchases from there. If like last year You have to purchase your tickets before arriving . You choose a time slot for arrival time and you can stay as long as you want but you have an hour window (I believe) for arrival time. Sometimes you can search the web as well as their fb site for discount codes as well.
Opening date it T.B.D. depending on weather condtions. Best advice is keep a eye on there facebook page as they post info to when they play. To open
Depends on mother nature. Look the answered questions. This question has been Answer many times. Keep eye on facebook site for updates on when they are ABLE to open. It's all man made ice structures. Need the sustained cold weather to do so.
$11-16 for kids, $16-20 for adults (depending on day... weekends are more expensive)
Price varies . Best to keep eye on their facebook page for updates and opening dates and theres link there to ticket purchasing. And you. Basically make an appointment. You choose a time slot to buy your tickets for which is your arrival time. You can stay as long as you want but have to purchase tickets for an available arrival time. They are either half hour or hour windows.
This site is really for reviews. It would be just as easy (and quicker) to go to their website and find out.
Yes admission varies year to year it seems and definately have to buy ahead of time to pick your time slot. Best to watch facebook page for updates on opening dates and admission prices and can link to buy tickets/time slot from there. It is a lot of fun and great to see esp after dark!
There are many other questions on here answering this question. It is weather permitting. It is an outdoor man made ice creation. So need sustained cold weather to create it. There is no opening date because it depends on weather n mother nature. Best bet to do is keep eye on their fb site for current updates and opening times n dates . They will post there when they are able to work on it and open. Will depend on mother nature cooperation
Not yet , some time early to mid January. Watch them on fb they post once a date for opening has been set
Impossible to plan on mother nature. The title is as it says. Ice castles. It is all outdoor man made ice structures/formations. So need the cold weather to create. Opening is weather permitting and this is Google not ice castles web site. Best way to keep track of opening and when they will be would be their website or fb site that is actually monitored by employees. These are just informational sites about locations thru google.
Theres not a certain date. Its weather permitting. Have to have the weather to make the ice
I think the prices varies from year to year, not open that early, and if you plan on going buy your tickets ahead of time they do sell out!
Pretty sure those prices are accurate and They are weather permitting as we need to have sub freezing weather to create them. So when they open will depend on mother nature . Will have to keep eye on website or fb site
Im pretty sure
Its weather permitting. Has to be cold enough long enough to create them. Will have to keep eye on website or fb page for updates
I went March 12 and it was open until the weekend check website to verify if still open. It has been warm in NH
I believe the Ice Castles are closed for the season, but you should either call or check our their website.
They are no longer open. I imagine it is because normally the weather gets warmer and the ice becomes unstable.
Can verify www.icecaste.com
They decide on a day to day basis, keep an eye on their webpage
On the website it appears that 3/14 is the last day you can purchase tickets.
An hour is good if you do not plan to do the slides. Most of the rest of the castle can be done within that time.
March 9th is the expected last day, but that depends on the weather. Best of luck!
There is no child age limit but you need to be a certan hight to slide down the big slide. And for the question about the tickets I'll will pist a photo
you can try showing up in the first half hour or last hour of the night to get tickets however there will be no guarantee that you'll be allowed in. That's your best chance
No unfortunately you can't. You can try the stand-by option but those usually run out very quickly as well.
Hi Carol, you can purchase an additional ticket on the website or you can wait until you arrive to purchase it.
It depends on the weather. Usually early to mid March. This year we are not experiencing a lot of melt due to the cold temperatures. Time will tell how that effects our opening dates.
Yes you can
When we went it stayed open while it rained. It didnt rain for long though.
Not sure best to check the website over a call them.
They should be available on the website!
I would call, they may not think that it will be cold enough to sustain the ice needed.
They will not sell too far in advance as it is open depending on the weather. If it stays cold enough they will most likely open up tickets for a couple more weeks.
Call them.
Check for an open reservation prior. Available time slots do open up upon a cancellation. It's a very popular attraction. Might have an option to reserve slots next year.
Maybe, if they have stand-by availability but do not count on it. Generally sold out.
May be sold. Out
They sell out often, check ahead of time.
I think you just go at your scheduled time and show them to the gate attendant
https://www.showclix.com/event/ice-castles-new-hampshire-2019
Weather dependent, typically early March.
Sorry, no pets allowed.
General Admission (ages 12 and up) $15.95 = Weekday $18.95 = Weekend Child Admission (ages 4 - 11) $10.95 = weekday $14.95 = weekend
No
Well I paid at the entrance
They may not be open then if its not cold enough
Season is highly weather dependent however the castle typically stays open until early March
I don't know right to them on there link if it was closed you be able to get it back
Thanks. We changed our tickets. -10 is not for us along with hazardous road conditions. See you in Feb!
That is going to be very weather dependent
They dont no if its not cold. They will shut. Down
They are open but there is only a few tickets left for specific times. Better check the website for available.
I paid only $5 when I was there 2 years ago.. and I think there should open until 10pm..
sleigh ride? I've been there twice and there were no sleigh rides must be something new. But from my experience they only allow certain capacity #of people inside the castle and the first time i was there they let people w/the tickets to go in and had thr people that didn't have tix stand by until the last admission. Second time I was there they were completely sold out and some people drove there miles and miles and just went home. So Sleigh ride is a new thing and I assumed they sell out pretty quickly. I would buy it in advance if you still got time
Look on there link
They are closed today due to a power outage.
Oh i don't know this is the first time they are doing that
Holiday inn Lincoln
It honestly will depend on the weather but I believe tickets are on sale already, they have a site with details on buying tickets. I'm almost positive you need to buy tickets for a time frame, that's how it was last year.
They have been on sale for the last month. You can find them online at at ice castles website.
No
They were already open when we were there the week before Christmas.
Not open yet. Check https://icecastles.com/lincoln/ for more information.
Community forum.... You are far better calling the number listed on their website. I think they do have holiday hours though. Sorry i couldn't be of more help.
This is a community forum.... Best to check their website or call them directly. Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.
I didn't understand what vou are asking for Sorry
No. Ice castle is right next to a Holiday Inn Express though.
Unfortunately it depends on the weather so I'm not sure
I tried calling but got an answering machine. My kids are under 5yrs old, so funsport and skiing may not be activities they can do unless I get them (3) lessons. What else is there to see around there? Maybe I should postpone my trip till Feb to be sure ice castles is open
Feb
They do. Day and night they should go to there page
They do not open until mid to late December.
There's a lot of snow so it should be open now.. the ice castle open once the Winter is at it's best...
Monday-Thursday Online- General Admission (12+): $15.95 Child (4-11): $10.95 Walkup (Standby)- General Admission (12+): $20 Child (4-11): $15 Friday-Sunday Online- General Admission (12+): $18.95 Child (4-11): $14.95 Walkup (Standby)- General Admission (12+): $25 Child (4-11): $20
Around january i think
They cannot open until they have a series of below freezing nights to freeze the ice.
They are closed for the season. Once the warm weather comes, the ice melts.
Open to the public as Hobo Railroad. Ice Castles is only seasonal. Look up Ice Castles, N.H, it has locations and seasonal events as well as operating hours, etc.
Seasonal only. They have a listing of times, seasons, etc on their website. Just look up Ice Castles, NH. From what I gather, there are a few more of these places in Maine, and other parts of the East coast. Hope this helps. P.S. The prices may seem a little steep, but keep in mind it is worth paying, considering what they have to go through to make these structures and also pay their top notch employees. DRESS WARM!
I thought it was last Saturday, according to their website. But, with the last nor easter, maybe they will stay open longer. You should check their website.
There's restaurants all around town. They have a small food shack inside of the ice castle that serves hot chocolate, cinnamon buns, and coffee. just small time comfort foods that you can easily walk around with and beverages to help keep you warm.
Likely someone entered wrong number, but would check your c.c to be sure
What? I don't understand your question.
it depends on the weather you should check the website
Calling is the best especially as the weather continues to be so variable
all day but it's best at night ounce you are in you can stay as long as you want you just can't leave and come back
Wknd prices and weekday prices differ. But I think adults were $16.95/ea. And I'm not sure about kids. I didn't bring any. Check their site for Ice Castles Lincoln NH and you can find out for sure.
Save your money, this place is a rip off!
Sometime in March I'm guessing. I will use my mobile device to browse their website and then get back to you.
No, there's no designated calling site. Just parking and the castles themselves
Looking at their website, since they are saying they offer special holiday pricing from Feb 16th to March 4th, they are at least open until then. Like others have posted, buy tickets online at least days before you go. For example, each week, the weekends are usually sold out before Wednesday. Just FYI. Good luck And i suggest you arrive a few minutes early. We arrived at the last 15 minutes of our time slot and it took all that time to get into a parking space and then walk all the way to the entrance and then find our line. We just made it.
You are allowed to bring sleds into the castle. It is a good way to move little ones around since a stroller will not work inside
It will always depend on the weather. We've got a serious cold snap right now that will help keep it open.
The website provides her schedule information
Free parking in NH.
Call them
It looks like Saturday Feb. 10th is the last day to buy tickets online.
I suppose you could, but there's parking right next to it.
Everyone needs tickets! You can get them online or you can also get them from the counter at ice castle!
It'll depend on weather. They make an estimate based on the forecast, but they can't confirm it until it's closer. I'd guess at least mid February, but it'll depend on the weather.
According to the website pets are not allowed. Service animals are the only exception.
Parking pass is no longer required
For now I seen tickets being sold until Feb 3rd as of today
I don't remember exactly but they were a lot considering once you get in it's just an icy court yard
I don't see anything on their website. I'd ask them on Facebook, as they tend to be responsive there.
They had a pre buy a few weeks ago. I would assume shortly after christmas they will be on sale.
When do the castles open for the season? I've been on website, and only see dates in January, dose the fire performer ,preform in Dec on Saturday nights steering @ 7:15
Not sure exactly but my wife and i went last year. I believe we paid $18 for the two of us. If you like I've sculptures it totally worth the price plus the admission pays for everyone involved in creating it. It way better at night, It's like another planet.
It only runs when it below freezing temperatures as they are Man made. December to end of February.
Not really my wife and i found a small hotel about 10 miles away. The name was Pilgrim inn and cottages . Literally a small 1 room clean cottage. No breakfast though. Maybe coffe bagels and small child size cereal bowls.
