Amazing all indoor aquarium! We enjoyed looking at River animals, sea animals, attic animals and two amazing shows(dolphins and sea lions). This place has several galleries to tour, a food court and several shows to choose from. Make sure you get to the shows 20-30 minutes early to get a good seat. We were able to complete the major galleries and two shows with 18 people in about 3.5 hours. Overall, great experience!

Loved the aquarium! The price is a bit steep but I understand it's also to help maintain and care for all the animals and habitats. The food there is pricey and not the best quality- chicken tenders are pretty generic frozen tenders, the burger was good but nothing special.
The exhibits were great. The place was pretty clean considering how many school/kid groups were there. Wish we could have brought our kids even if it costs a small fortune 🤣

I just love it. ...
I think its a two story building and there are lots lounge chairs, tables&chairs, bathrooms too. ... Huge space to walk and wheelchair friendly.
All the Aquariums are wonderful and amazing. ...
From time to time there will be informative information about the featured fishes or animals. ...
The only thing is par is the food. It's just okay but they have a cup for unlimited refill. To hydrate while walking around the Aquariums.
The price is on the expensive side but totally worth it. ...
Service is good. ...
We had a fun filled day. ...

Will be coming back! I'm so impressed with the size of this aquarium, it was very easy to walk through, all sections set up easy to navigate. The dolphin show was great. The whale sharks were so impressive. I saw some people doing the shark dive, it looked like so much fun. Plenty of seating in the different exhibits, we sat and watched the fish and the sharks for quite a while. The gift shop had a lot of items to pick from.
Not less than 5 hours if you want to enjoy it fully. Each and every spot is worth watching. You also want to take pictures. It's not worth it to spend only couple of hours. I just visited few days ago and it was pretty busy since morning. I spent 5 hours and wanted to spend two more hours to see sea lion show and some other places. If you just want to tell others that you have visited aquarium then 2 hours might be ok but if you go there as a real tourist, you may need 5 to 7 hours.
What do you mean by time limit? We recently went to the aquarium. We had the tickets for 9.30am and arrived at around 9.45. Usually you have 30 minutes time period.
Currently (5/29/2019) there's a lot of construction at the aquarium. If you can get handicap parking, it shouldn't be a big deal but it's a bit of a walk to the aquarium otherwise.
Also worth mentioning the aquarium itself is a lot of walking, through exhibits and to different tanks and displays. If walking is an issue consider getting a wheelchair.
Yes you can stay until closing and also eating there is very pricey but good food and I do recommend you get the citypass great thing to have to avoid lines
Best discount I found is the City Pass. You get the aquarium, the zoo, Coca-Cola factory, and then get to pick between a few more. Really good deal when looking to fill 2-3 days.
Tickets are as follow
Gen. Admission
11-4
ages(13-64) $32.95
ages(3-12) $28.95
Seniors $30.95 prices change after 4pm. I hope that this helps and have a wonderful time. Also parking is $12
Perhaps you should consider order tickets online, allowing you to skip the ticket line. Much more sensible. Plus there are the ticket kiosks that do not require human help. Also, your. Choice to come late in the day has nothing to do with the aquarium or its staff. Come earlier, buy online, be smarter.
No matter the temp outside it is always seems to be just right inside. Light sweater or jacket for the little ones. If you do the Dolphin experience (recommended) WILL get wet in the seats that say "Splash Zone" and possibly 2 rows after. Keep that in mind when going to the Aquarium and what to wear.
Was there Nov.23, 5th visit in 5 years. Was extremely busy.
Weeelllll!! Anything can happen from now to March soo keep an eye on it on their online site....But we went a week ago and it was open, soo keep your hopes high.
Right now they require you to buy online and reserve an arrival time....you can put everything in and see your total before you "check out" but it's roughly $35 per person and $12 parking if you prepay. $15 parking if you pay upon departure.
The crowd is going to be just about normal. There are several precautions in place to ensure that you are kinda separated from other groups of people while you view the exhibits.
I just googled "Hours of operation for Sunday at Georgia Aquarium" showed me 8AM to 7PM but you might want to check their website when you order. You can only order tickets online so it should tell you the correct hours their if different because of Covid. Www.GeorgiaAquarium.org
You don't need an app, just go to their website. It laid out all the different type of tickets they have.
https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/special-offers/?keyword=georgia%20aquarium%20tickets&gclid=Cj0KCQjwoInnBRDDARIsANBVyAQw9Fv00MFSjFTkv4_4O3QAYqwdz0hqdXOBnqaaomFzSiPITS3pKmoaApp6EALw_wcB
No. But you can buy tickets along with a meal ticket online. I thought the meal that came in the meal ticket was good. I also recommend buying the behind the scenes tour. You can purchase all these online ahead of time for your visit.
Can you still book the dolphins? And what exactly will be done then? LG

The dolphin show is included with general admission. You can not book a time ahead. Show times vary but plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the show.
Can I bay the The ticket from the location

Yes you can via kiosk or at the admission clerks just so you know it's cheaper to buy online and go early for early bird special
assuming that you live just outside of New Delhi ( the most populated area on Earth ) it is 7,971 M. away from the GA. aquarium. You are speaking English, however, and it is 745 M. from N.Y.,N.Y.. Your last name, respectively, sounds Spanish so the GA. aquarium is 1,341 M. from Mexico City and 4,660 M. from São Paulo. But you are likely a tourist and staying in a hotel and the said aquarium is 1.55 M. from the Loes ATL. hotel.
Unfortunately no it's not. Life safety in the aquarium comes in the form of wet floor signs. There's even a tray full of confiscated "assault" lighters when you go through the metal detectors
Hundreds!! Probably thousands!! They also swap and send different species thru other aquariums. So it's possible you could see one fish taking a vacation from another.
Has anyone/ a company, rented the meeting space at the GA aquarium? If so, what are the rates?
I believe sleepovers are privately hosted events. Your best bet would be to contact the Aquarium directly to find out who is hosting one, then contact that organization.
I do remember seeing some people scuba in a large aquarium with many large sea creatures. There were some sharks and rays in there, I don't remember if there were whale sharks specifically or not. Also I do not know the price as I did not partake in the activity. You might try calling the aquarium to find out for sure.
Maybe small snacks for very young children - but don't try to bring in food because your bags will be inspected and you will have to leave them outside.(the snacks not the kids)
Updated prices are on their website, but for an opinionated answer, I thought the price for an adult was on the higher end for what you get as far as attractions and what you get to see. I was a little disappointed because it seemed small compared to what I expected based on what I paid.
The prices fluctuate depending on what time you arrive. Before 11am it would be $92.85, from 11am-4pm it's $101.85, after 4pm is $80.85. These prices are for all three of you, two adult and one child. There is also a charge for parking in their parking deck which will add around $10 more to your trip.
Check the website and groupon. There are always deals. They have military mondays, free admission for prior and active military and then 30% off anyone with them. Online tickets are always cheaper than in person. Plus buying ahead of time saves standing in line
The prices vary depending on what day you go and the age of each family member. With 7, you will probably have 2 cars so don't forget you will pay for parking for both vehicles as well. I suggest downloading the free app for GA Aquarium and go thru the prompts, plus it's cheaper to purchase the tickets and pay for the parking online before you go to avoid the long line and be mindful of what's in bookbag and strollers cause they check everything. Enjoy your trip,we Did!
$35.95 for adults (ages 13 to 64),$29.95 for children (ages 3 to 12) and$31.95 for seniors (65 plus). Prices are reduced by up to 30 percent after 4 p.m.
The prices vary, were paid 30 pp bc we arrived before 11 but 4 to close wadd customer too u just have to go online select ur date n time n see the amounts
No outside food or drink are allowed in the aquarium with the exception of small snacks for children or visitors with food allergies. The aquarium has a food court and probably would rather you buy from there. They are a business you know.
Depends on how fast you move and how busy it is. 2-3 hours can get almost everything and possibly all of it if your timing lines up right with the shows.
Yes but their wheelchairs suck and it seems they only have a couple. We had to wait an hour to get one. I was unable to reserve one before we got there. They are hard plastic, and someone has to push you. No power scooters.
Each state varies or regulations, licenses, and agreements. Best practice is to speak with an associate and/or management thar can verify that information directly.
Due to covid-19, you have to purchase tickets online in advance and reserve a time slot. They are not currently selling them at the gate. You must arrive within a few minutes of your scheduled time. I would recommend doing this well in advance of your planned trip. They tend to sell out by the day of.
Yes, it's open. Some steps are taken to ensure the safety as well. Reservations are limited. In the parking building, every other parking space is blocked. Temperature is measured at the entrance. Mask is mandated.
No time frame for aquarium stay. Closes 8pm though. Dolphin show is 15 minutes long but you have to be there 15 minutes before your time slot if you want good seats
The online ticket is $ 35 each, in the place you can also buy them at the different ticket offices with a cost of about $ 40, the baby is obviously free! Parking you get many around the aquarium, starting payments from $ 10 for 3 hours, up to $ 30 for 24 hours
Children under 3 free; everyone else $35.95. Due to Covid time & day for visit are selected & tickets purchased online. https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/
It really depends! To just walk it without any major stopping, you can probably do the whole thing in about an hour. If you take time to read the info cards, take photos or watch fish swim, I'd say you could easily spend 4 or 5 hours! Add on about 30 minutes for each show you want to catch.
We have an Sae project to do and I love aquatic animals and we can help or clean?
My family was able to go with someone who had season tickets. They have guess passes where we could park and get in for free. It was a very nice treat for the family.
Everything in the galleries and the dolphin show plus the otter feedings. It doesn't include parking, food, pictures they take and the vr experience. You can get discounted tickets through Sam's or costco
$250 per person for the swim. Think the dive was like $350 and you need to be scuba certified. Here's the link to the swim tickets too, https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/experience/journey-with-gentle-giants-swim/
You can go to there website and go to the visitors information section. I think that is what it is called. And they have a calender you can download. It has all of the operating hours along with the shows that they have.

Todos los boletos cuestan 39.95 pero puede ahorrar un 10 por ciento cuando compra en línea

Prices are reduced by up to 30 percent after 4 p.m. Parking costs an additional $12 but there are reduced packages for purchasing aquarium tickets and parking ahead of time
If you are going to be a couple of days in the area is better to get the city pass you can save up to 41% on the most 5 popular attractions in Atlanta city area
Yes, you can. You can take pictures of everything, except for the dolfins show and the sea lions show. There are some exhibits you will have to turn off the flash.

At the counter you pay the full $39.95 unless you are in the military. In order to receive any other type of discount from them you must purchase your ticket(s) online through their website or somewhere like Groupon.
Yes. I believe it's 10% all days except Monday for Military. Monday it's more discounted. Check the website for specifics. I don't remember seeing anything for student discounts.
https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/tickets/
Price is different depend on when you visit there and pre-book or no.
As mentioned maximum 39.95 but, if you visit after 4pm 26.95.
Tickets are cheaper online if you buy in advance. On the day they are expensive, over$30 plus tax. The dolphin experience is part of the ticket so you don't pay extra...the dolphins will splash water on you if you are sat on the first 10 rows, that is the most interaction you will get but it was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed it
Of course there is. Provided you get there at 4 and no later. Remember, the aquarium closes at 9, and this place is huge. They've got lots of shows that you don't want to miss.
If you are interested in seeing the other attractions in the same area such as the world of Coke Cola, Human Civil Rights Center, the Zoo or Chick Fils A football museum,....you are better off buying the Citypass. It gives you most bang for your buck.
They have group rates, and family deals I don't know those prices but it was $30.95 for me & you had to go before 11am. If not it's $45 & you also have to pay $15 for parking
Buy the two meals, parking ticket, 2 adults early bird tickets and 2 Dolphins Celebration which means go to the front of the line and let them know you have reserved seats they will let you right on in...all this was 122.00
They offer free cart rides from parking lot to aquarium and rent out wheel chairs free of charge with a valid ID. You can find more info at.
https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/visitor-information/
I bought tickets online. Get the early bird survival prices. Can get tickets from the aquarium site, but cheaper through the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau is best since early bird prices are better. The short that says 20% savings.
https://www.atlanta.net/things-to-do/attractions/georgia-aquarium/
From their website:
"There are no refunds for purchased tickets. Date changes can be made 24 hours PRIOR to the date of the reservation for a minimal processing fee per ticket. Date changes are not allowed after the date of the ticket."
Danae , sorry I don't know the price precisely since we purchased Atlanta City pass. My city pass was 63.99 + tax for kids and it included coke, Aquarium, CNN,ZOO, fernbank Museum. We loved it all.
It depends on the kind of tickets you buy. I for one bought mine at $33......and had fun. Fo to georgia aquarium site and choose one ticket for adult and one for a child. It might not get to $90.
Please remember , if you want to enjoy dolphin and sea lion shows, which I consider important when you visit aquarium, atleast you need 4 hours. You may plan your visit accordingly.
Kids 2 and under are free. Ages 3-12 are $28.95. Above 12 is adult priced. What i suggest is the Mommy and Me pass it's about $48 with tax but it pays for one adult and up to 4 kids in (under 5 yrs of age though).
In may and June is dolfin show available and at what time slots and in which days in a week
Swaramita Bhattacharya | Dec 10, 2019
Jocelyn | Dec 11, 2019
Yes the dolphin show will still be available. When you get your tickets you will have to look at the different times yourself. I also suggest getting reserved seats since it fulls up fast.
Before 11AM [Early Bird] - $30.95
Between 11AM and 4PM [General Admission] - $28.95 - $32.95
After 4PM [Imagination Nights] - $26.95
The above prices are excluding tax.
While you can also purchase an Atlanta CityPASS which lasts 9 days giving you options to visit 5 places out of 7 - Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN Studio Tours, Zoo Atlanta, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, College Football Hall of Fame and Fernbank Museum of National History.
Adult CityPASS - $76
Child CityPASS (3-12) - $62
The above prices are excluding tax.
Passes are available for purchase at any of the above places or online at https://www.citypass.com/atlanta
Anytime before 1:00 pm is good, the place is always crowded, but the dolphin theater was worth the trip. The staff and crowds were friendly. Prepare to stay for a couple of hours.
No. It's only free ON your birthday if you are a GEORGIA resident and have proof with a State I.D/Driver's License or Birth Certificate. It's a GEORGIA resident free admission because that's the state the Aquarium is in.
There is floors u will explore to park. Park ur car then go and buy it tikets and then as u exit u will see a tikets machine and u pay for them there and when u drive out they scan it to make sure u payed
I would bring good walking shoes and snacks. They check your bags though when you come in so don't bring a lighter or a knife because they put it in a tub with everyone else's knives and someone could take it.
Prices vary depending on the time you go. Before 11 a.m. They are $ 30.95, from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. it would be $ 29.95- $ 35.95, and if you go after 4 p.m. It's $ 26.95.
We arrived shortly after 11 and purchased out tickets online ( using my phone) and it was 32.95 for adults. I just had to bring the email up on my phone and they scanned the bar codes.
No diving or snorkeling experience needed. They provide everything for you in the price. You will have to sign waivers of course. The price as if today Feb 22th is $233.95 plus tax for Non members and 189.95 plus tax for members . for more info and times of diving..please go to their website. Have fun
It says that it's the biggest in the world. Largest amount of water in any aquarium in the world. I was there just this past Sunday and it's extremely crowded, but worth it. I've been to the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD many times and the Georgia aquarium is 100 times better. It should tell you on their website. You'll also save money for the Aquarium and Parking by buying your tickets online. The World of Coke is next to it and they're providing FREE admission to the Civil Rights museum during February.
Does this amazon place offer swimming with dolphins
Kimberly Moon | Dec 10, 2019
Andrew Hutzel | Dec 11, 2019
No, there's a show and you can get very close in fact I saw a few kids during the show go up with the handlers to feed the dolphins and signal them to do certain tricks but no one swims with them except the handlers.
$30 bucks. But if you live close by you are better off getting a kids membership--it is $65 so you can come the whole year plus discounts in the gift shops, members only access and much more.
$27 to $33 per person. Here's the website https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/tickets/. If you have time, pay for a behind the scenes tour. It is worth the extra money. The aquarium offers special rates depending on the day of the week. For example, Mondays are free for US military members.
Here:
https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/tickets/
But it is cheaper if you buy the Citi Pass instead of the tickets directly, so you have priority entry to the aquarium and more attractions too.
https://www.citypass.com/atlanta
The Georgia Aquarium has an area where you can touch starfish, sea cucumbers, horseshoe crabs, etc. that is available with general admission.
Alternately you can pay for a behind the scenes admission and touch the dolphins, sea lions, etc., depending on which ticket you get.
You can also swim the whale sharks. The ticket price varies if you are snorkeling, diving, or using a rebreather.
I think the current ticket price is $40 per adult. After 4pm, it is $26. If you get there at 4pm, you still have time to watch the last dolphin show at 5pm and the last seal show at 6pm. The aquarium is open until 9pm.
