It is a great experience for adults and kids. There are specific shows that occur at specific times that are included in the ticket price. So make sure to coordinate according. And I would try to go on an off day. Weekends can be incredibly busy.
They have a good website and an okay app that can tell you everything you need to know. I felt it was absolutely worth the cost. I did go during the week so it wasn't too crowded though.
