I do remember seeing some people scuba in a large aquarium with many large sea creatures. There were some sharks and rays in there, I don't remember if there were whale sharks specifically or not. Also I do not know the price as I did not partake in the activity. You might try calling the aquarium to find out for sure.
You can snorkel with the whale sharks it is about $220, diving with them is $320. Spaces fill up so you should schedule ahead

Csnt swim the whale shark at the aquarium. They have 3 of them. There is alot to see at the aquarium plus shows to see as well.
