Tourist place but with history! Loved all the shops and the cattle walk that is free to watch. Its very welcoming. They have designated paid parking at affordable prices.
A leashed dog should be ok. You can't take it inside anywhere,Unless it's a service dog. They have Longhorn cattle drives twice daily. I'd hate to see the news about a dog causing a stampede. LOL
A great experience for young and old. Lots of places to sit and rest. Seeing the longhorn cattle in person walking down the street is memorable. For $5 you can take a pic on a bull, $15 a wagon ride and horse riding available for fee. There is a maze, a street shoot out with sheriff and gun slingers. Train robbery skit. Lots of shops and places to eat. Cons is bottle water $4. Otherwise a great activity for families, friends etc.
Usually they do a firework show but since covid-19 I haven't heard of them doing anything yet but you can always call the courthouse and ask them who you need to speak with about that. They will forward you to the parks division more than likely
I live in the Stock yards you'll be fine as long as you have a leash and your dog is trained. They bring out Steers and cowboys on horse's won't take lightly to a dog wanting to play😁
just parking. Lots of great shops and restaurants. And you can look around the rodeo building. Also, twice daily they drive the castle down the main street. And there's always photo ops with a cowboy(free) or long horn (small fee, and yiu can get on it)
The cattle drives are twice daily, every day at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting. Except on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. The best place to watch is in front of the Livestock Exchange Building at 131 East Exchange Avenue. Follow the Fort Worth Herd on social media for all updates on scheduling.
They go at 11.30 AM and 4 PM everyday on E Exchange Avenue where other activities are also available like sitting on Cattle, Ponyride etc. You can also see cattles sitting in the Herd afterwards which is walkin distance. Not to mention wide variety of Food and Beer 🙂
The Longhorn cattle drive does not run on
Thanksgiving but you can see the longhorns in their pen.Billy Bob's Texas opens
at 6pm.. No rodeo. Check shops and restaurants individually
We went on Saturday and the children's rides were 5 tickets each, one ticket is like one dollar. You have to get a card or a bracelet to ride rides or play games.
For parking, my husband and I found some free parking only after we left. Going down main street, just past Cavenders, and the furniture store on the other side of Billy Bob's Texas, there is a ten dollar parking area that is super easy to miss. Once you turn, keep going down the road until you get to the exit. On the other side of that road is an area with free parking.
Billy Bob's will cost you to get in because it also has a rodeo, dance floor and most of the time live music. But most of the bars don't charge you to get in. Then you have the restaurants and clothes stores and a few tattoo bars too. It is a really diverse area of stores and bars to go visit. You can spend a day visiting and a night drinking.
Are the 2pm and 4 pm tours available tomorrow? (11/12/20) What is the cost?

There are ghost tours at 7pm. You can visit the stock yards any time at 10am when the shops are open.
If you are referring to the Stockyard Rodeo show, they have a special event on Sunday, September 1st. You can find more info here: https://www.stockyardsrodeo.com/article.asp?id=2272
Otherwise they have shows every Friday and Saturday.
Miss Molly's is a "haunted" hotel in the stockyards. Also stone house hotel is also "haunted" and right around the corner. These are my favorit ones to stay at. Lots of hystory even if you do not believe in hauntings. And if you do nothimg is malicious there.
Several times a day. The times I'm sure of are immediately after the cattle drive, (11am & 4pm). It isn't out in the street, but back under the overhang where the shops are.
No its $10 to park. There is a 30 min section that is free i believe but it is HIGHLY patrolled. Suggest not using it unless its only going to take you 10 mins
Depends on where you park and what you would like to do. If you only look around then all you pay for is parking. Unless you dont mind walking and then you can find a spot for free and you only spend money in shops or restaurants 😉
In sorry, as far as I know, you can't. You can bring one, but I gotta say, if you go during peak hours you will have difficulty using a wheelchair. Not impossible, but with one side of the street closed to pedestrians for construction, the remaining sidewalk is quite crowded.
Where is the best places to park for ease of access and costs?

Yes, but there are more public scheduled on the weekends.
Rodeo is staged event's like bronc riding, steer roping, bull riding, barrel racing for competition. Pawnee Bills is just a exhibition show of maybe some trick or mock shooting at targets, trick riding etc.
There is a $7 parking fee, and then you can walk around and see all of the historic stockyards where you can shop and eat. They do have fees for things like tours, the museum, horse carriage rides and such, but these are well priced. Tons of fun for the whole family.
Do you have to have a permit to do a High School Senior Photoshoot at the stockyards area?

My understanding is if it's only for personal use it would be ok.
Lots of fun, yrail rides, petting zoo, mechanical bull ridesl, lots of shopping and eateries, Billy Bob's club smd the roundup up of the cattle at 1 and 4 o'clock daily... I was there lst week, lot of fun..
Yes it's $5 there's normally to of the Longhorn steers there that you can get on they have steps and saddle and I'll take your picture you're on him for a couple minutes long enough to take a picture and everything else
I used to park my sleper cab at Billy bobs. They have an area for their livestock trucks to park just east of the building. They charge but it's the only place I know of and I go to stockyards often in my car now.
Any advice as to who to talk to about establishing a partnership to purchase decoration items, clothing and everything Texas-related to be shipped to Brazil?

Hi Paulo. Talk to the shop owner at whichever store you shop at. They should be able to accommodate you. If that isn't an option the I would call or visit the visitors center.
This is something I always wanted to do but it is my opinion that you have to start when you're very young and around buls all the time . To know how how they think, how they are and what makes them tick . Think hard on this and good luck
