The herd parade twice today 1130 and 4 PM and afterwords the alpha of the herd is out front with a handler you can get on his back and have a picture taken for five bucks

Good answers are here. I go at night mostly. Don't forget the John Wayne museum. I have been to the gift shop but some day hope to see the museum and herd. And I think a train runs through. And there is a petting zoo mostly for kids but I want to go to that also.
Longhorns are brought through 2 times a day at 11am and 4pm. Make sure you have your camera
