It's good for any toll road in MD... and it worked for me on a drive from Baltimore to Philadelphia... even in Delaware and New Jersey... I think it's a transit region maybe.. but I would definitely double check that the signs are purple and say E-Z Pass before you drive through a toll area without stopping to pay.

When pulling a trailer you have to use the Cash / EZ Pass lanes. Your EZ Pass will still pay for the toll, but it will be at the full rate for the number of axles you have at the time.

The 3 person HOV rule only applies in Virginia on I-95 and I-66. Maryland doesn't have a 3 person rule and certainly not in any of the tunnels.

Had a similar problem paid when we went thru the toll in August then got a bill for $28 in January wth and had to wait on the phone with customer service for 2 1/2 hours ( no BS) eventually paid the bill otp before the price went doubled. COMPLETE RIP OFF!!

I got not 1 but 2 bills PLUS 2 fines on Dulles Toll Road (Virginia) because they said I went through through the toll booth 2 times in the same minute. I fought the charges but they said both were valid. It ended up being a broken EZPass device, but I still had to pay the double billing. Ad then I had to replace the EZPass with a new one; lots of time expended for a PITA process.

Yes you can. Call EZ pass. You need to give them your year, make, and model of your new car. Plus new license plate number if you got one. It's easy. I do it all the time. I buy used cars every 4-5 years and switch my info with EZ pass. If you just move the transponder without giving them your new info. You run the risk of the transponder not being read. They than run your tags and if they don't match they'll send you a bill in the mail. Hope this helps.
