I recently purchased and registered a transponder from Weis for $25.00 . Why is my credit card being charged $1.50 for administration fees each month. I am a MD resident. I do not use tolls regularly.

You have to watch what you are signing up for when you register your transponder online. That fee your paying might be for what you did when you registered your transponder.

According to the EZ Pass page, they do not charge a monthly administration fee for Maryland residents. A separate response to a similar question stated that "some agencies" do charge a monthly administration fee. I suggest calling the EZ Pass office.
