I don't know how I could thank ya'll for save Maggie Mae, and they continue to make my babygirl feel so good again, acting like a puppy, except she's 10 years old! She's the joy of my life and continues to be thanks to everyone that took extra special care of her β€

Love this place. Everybody's so helpful. I fed strays and ended up with pregnant strays π but they're helping me get them all fixed and hopefully they'll be adopted. Great place!

I have brought both my old shizu's here in the past 4 months. In both cases we thought they were not going to live very much longer. The doctors and staff were very professional and didn't try and sugar coat or give any false hope based on the symptoms both dogs were showing at the time. They offered only the tests and treatments that they thought absolutely necessary, therefore saving us a lot of money that I know other Vet Clinics in the area would not have done. Fortunately there worst predictions did not come true and the medicine and treatments they received saved both there lives, giving us more time to spend with our furry children. I would recommend them over any clinic in Florida. They helped save our dogs and didn't fill us with false hope if the worst happened. I will always be grateful for what they did for us. If you have a chance to donate or help out in any way this organization, know what you give is helping to improve and save animals lives and emotionaly improve there owners lives as well. Thank you for everything you've done for my family.

You can go they will take care of it and probably relocate it with a good family
Yes, they accept walk-ins, as they are also a pet hospital.
Yes
The Norwood location will give u trap. Only 1 animal per trap.
You can take her to Pets angles vet hospital. They will find her a great home.
Yes they do walk ins you just have to wait a while to be seen & casset has more vets on staff than Norwood And not only that if they cannot see your animal they will assess them and make sure it's not life-threatening and that they will make an appointment for them to come back if it's life-threatening or very serious they will treat them then even if they're over overbooked
Not a payment plan but they have a 3rd party they do financing through
Yes. In addition to costing 75%-50% less than other vets they offer payment plans including ScratchPay. Very caring, knowledgeable and friendly staff and volunteers and highly qualified vets and surgeons . There are many vets closer to us but we will only take our pets here Reduced cost because this is a Salvation Army operation A true blessing to our community
Thank you we will get the results on Monday but we took our dog to pet supermarket and they called saying she does have heartworms and to see a vet
If they are brought in as ferals and in humane traps it's free also.
Definitely
Any place to look at you need to call. Some of them do some of them don't some of them have no more room.
Thank you. I figured i got my answer and i already adopted another dog
If you can walk in to make an appointment your best bet. They can get you in quickly. If you walk in, you will wait a minimum of 2 hours in the waiting room with your pet. If you (walk in) make an appointment, they are good at seeing you on your appointment time. Call ing in to make an appointment takes days. If this is an emergency, walk in but again, wait time is 2 hours. Their care is great. Good luck!
Yes, they have regular vet visists by appointment.
They will work with your financial situation
Yes full service vet
They work with your income. Should cost u little to nothing at FC no more homeless pets
How old is your dog is it a male or female and is it fixed and have shots. I have 6 pitt bulls. I know a few people who are looking for one. And is it good with kids I might be able to help you find someone or a safe house. Let me know pm me in messenger My name is Gregg Brasher. Have a blessed day.
If you want to schedule an appt, you can do so online, they will call you within 24 hours of making it online to confirmation the date and time (which is will be at least a week away). If you walk in I suggest that you arrive a few minutes before they open at 8 am. 1st in, 1st out. Good luck with the puppies
Yes, you can. Please note that for stray cat spay or neuter, they will take a small but noticeable tip off one ear so that the stray can be identified from a distance as having been fixed.
Get her in for a full check up!! Lethargy can be a sign of a serious problem. Or maybe separation anxiety from whomever she belonged to before. Either way... Only a vet can tell. Regardless a full check up may ease your mind if she gets a clean bill of health!! But do not delay, please!!
Yes. Check out their website for a list of services.
I'm not sure if they still take care credit. You can call or Google
It's much cheaper than Banfield.
Not sure there cheap
Their open until 6 today.
They have prices on their website
They are wonderful. I didn't have the money and they had someone donate for my baby shepherd to have surgery after being ran over. I will always be eternally grateful for these people.
It's included in the immunization fee
i
You can also go IN PERSON to Jacksonville Humane Society's Pet Help Center and ask them about their Medically Needy Grant which is done through their hospital's administration. The people at the Pet Help Center should know about this and be able to assist you in applying for financial aid for treatment of your pet.
If you take them in the morning as walk-ins they are usually done in 2 hours. Their service and prices are excellent.
You might need to be more specific about what you want to buy. Cus kittens eyes, or kitten eye drops.
I have no idea on that but you can call them and find out but they probably do but don't take my word on it.
First Coast No More Homeless Pets ..can do free spay for cats depending on Zip code but not sure if it's city wide. Years ago I to a stray and got him neutered..and it was free...
I usually take my dogs for their last walk just before I get in the car to get there. I know that it's a vet clinic and there's places for your dog to go but I don't know everybody's pet that is coming to the vet I don't know if they've had their shots if they're sick with parvo I know my dogs are all up to date but I don't risk it so I don't like them to go to the bathroom there
I am not sure. But all spaying and neutering are done at Norwood location.
Usually within a week
My Son's Father took their cat November 16th to NMHP to be evaluated. The Vet did a physical and informed the family she was deteriorating and the quality of life she was experiencing was basically nonexistent. With that said they decided to go with the basic package I believe was $60.00 (at the Cassat location). This included a Vet to evaluate her health and a physical, as well as sedation (so she is actually put to sleep (like anesthesia), then they give her the dose to stop the heart. The package did not include disposal of her remains. She was wrapped in a blanket and they put her in the carrier we took her in with.... and she went home with us to be buried. If I remember correctly there are 3 packages for this service. I would call and ask because I can't quite remember what the pricing is for each and what is included. Best of luck and I hope you find the answer you're looking for.
I'm pretty sure their blue.
I, personally, can NOT, answer that question. But I would like to see more of you. I hope that's not too forward.
Oh ok itβs been a week already but idk
If you go in & tell them your cat is sick they will determine if it will be seen right away or if you can be seen as a walk in.
Yea they won't turn nobody away especially if your paying π
They have a aswering. Just leave a message and they will call U back
Hello! We are not a shelter. We are a low-cost vet clinic that partners with shelters in the area. For pet adoptions, we recommend Jax Humane and Animal Care and Protective Services.
Sprays have to be scheduled and adent available the same day, if you live I'm Jacksonville fl and get any government assistance or make under a certain income they will spay for free . I suggest going to either locations and get a form to see if you qualify! Hope this helps !
They can do walk ins but you will have to wait
You would need to call them. They offer discounted rates based on your income.
Their are two emergecy pet vet places one off norwood ave Just off i 95 north and one at cassette ave off I-10 north about block and hafe They are vets that are conected with no more homeless pet.
They do have a donation box, not sure when the food bank is though.
No but they are much cheaper than other vets. The one off cassat is great!
Yes.
They have payment plans.
Was he out running around lately? He may have torn a ligament or something I'm not a vet so I can't give you any medical advice. But I had a lab/rott mix (she has passed) that went running around the yard and she apparently slipped because she did start limping all the time on her left leg as well ironically however when I took her to no more homeless pets they said she had torn the ligaments in her knee. No more homeless pets does go by income so if you are tight on money they will work with you I have been in there in tears and left not paying an office visit and a very low bill. I would make an appointment and go early as possible because the weight can be extremely long. Going early will get you in quicker I have gone to the one on Cassat
I think it's found.org or foundanimals.org
Catina, we have our pricing listed on our website. If you would like more details on pricing, please call us at (904) 425-0005. We encourage you to bring your puppy in. https://www.fcnmhp.org/jacksonville-veterinary-services/pricing/
I don't believe so... you would need to take it to Jacksonville Humane society or find it a home.Sorry
I believe they do. Double check with a phone call though.
I would assume so. Full service vet.
Its been a holiday weekend and preparing for a hurricane they are probably being inundated with phone calls and preperations.
I'm sure they do they were trying to give me kittens that just came in I closed my eyes and ears quick before those cuties belong to me
Hi Ruth, surgery can be done as early as 8 weeks of age.
Try putting and ad on FB. But please be very careful to whom you give her to. I wish I didn't already have 3 rescue pits already.
I recommend appointments, but they do accept walk ins, especially emergency walk ins. I know from experience
Idk, but u can call them & ask. If u have multiple kittens they have a kitten pkg to make it more affordable.
No More Homeless Pets hrs are 9 am - 8 pm, Mon-Fri, they will assist with the medical care of the lil feline family but as far as someone taking them in, u can take them to Animal Care & Protective Services at 2020 Forest St. And I unfortunately can't take in any addt'l cats . . . I already have 7. I had 8, but she was killed the wk before Thanksgiving 2018.
Just call customer service
Go with an appointment...mid week and mid day...longer waits in the PM and weekends
No we do not.
I dont know, I'm sure not too much you can Google there number and call and ask them. It just takes time getting ahold of someone due to high call volume.
You can find out on their website FIRST COAST NO MORE HOMELESS PETS.
You can't drop them off there, but you can take them to Jacksonville Humane society.
You drop your animal off at 7am. Yoh will pick them up at 5. If your animal has surgery earlier in the day, they will call you & tell you what time to pick them up. They always call you after surgery.
I believe they are cat and dog vets only
FCNMHP is a low cost vet not a animal shelter. They do not take in animals
Hi Lauren. We are not a shelter, but we make shelters stronger. Please contact our partners are Animal Care and Protective Services or the Jacksonville Humane Society. Thank you!
You would have to talk to the people at fcnmhp. They are a lot cheaper than a vet
Hi Camila. Yes, we do cleanings. Here is a link to the pricing on our website: https://www.fcnmhp.org/jacksonville-veterinary-services/pricing/
No no appointment necessary if possible brung in a trap. Can get ine from no more homeless pets free no deposit. They do a one time transfer from your own carrier.
The last time I called, I had to leave a message too. They called me back the next day. They have 2 locations for appointments. Norwood Ave and Cassat Ave. Or you can try again.
It probably depends on the extent of the injuries
I believe $19
They will fix them for free may even come out & pick them up & bring them back.
Our next pet food bank is on June 30 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. We also help with cat litter.
Hey Roy. We are not a shelter, we make them better. You can take the dog to the Jacksonville Humane Society or Animal Care and Protective Services.
I believe it's $15 per animal. But I'm not sure. If you go to their website they have prices on there.
The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. I made an appointment for spaying and wasn't told that it was at the Norwood location. It sounds to me like training customer service to make sure the location is known needs to be reinforced.
Dry food is the best for your fur baby. Stay away from the wet food it isn't good for them and if your baby isn't completely potty trained it will be a horrible mess for you to clean.
All depends on what package you get.
Ask to see Dr. Ravi. By far the most knowledgeable and compassionate vet there. He truly cares for animals and his actions shows it.
Call me in number and leave message for Tara Metcalf. She can help you.
No, I don't think so. They have low cost vet. Also do grooming. But I don't think you can adopt here. I've adopted from shelters. And Humane society.
Yes first coast no more homeless pets all you have to do is show your award letter and you can get the animal fixed shots and tag for free you can get your animal fixed at Norwood no more homeless pets just show your award letter and it is free
I have had nothing but amazing experiences there. My dog had surgery and had been sick and they've been great in all instances
Cassat Ave. sometimes has young cats and kittens, when other shelters are full Got one there myself and saw other adoptions in progress.
I have 5 dogs. You can try Comfortis or others but I just started using Activyl this summer. It's $55.00 (2 months for 5 dogs) on Amazon and my dogs have not a flea since July. Don't I know if First Coast no more homeless pets sells it too but always check with your vet before starting a new Med.
No more homeless pets will do it for free and give him shots they're over on Cassat Avenue
