You can also go IN PERSON to Jacksonville Humane Society's Pet Help Center and ask them about their Medically Needy Grant which is done through their hospital's administration. The people at the Pet Help Center should know about this and be able to assist you in applying for financial aid for treatment of your pet.

They will help u to set up a payment plan, they have 2 different kind of plans. Incase your not elegable for one they ha e one as well

Yes they can help they can evaluate if it's not an emergency they'll have you come back but they'll give you medicine like antibiotics until you get to see the vet Definitely need to take the dog so it doesn't get an infection

There are a couple of payment programs they offer that might help. An office visit isn't much and they will advise on cost from there. They are low in comparison to most.
