I have an elderly dog 16 yrs old. She has many health issues due to her age. I know it's time to put her down, however I am disabled, no income at this time. Can you please help or refer me to someone that can help me with this expense?

They work with your income. Should cost u little to nothing at FC no more homeless pets

I'm sorry to hear that your furbaby is suffering. I only have disability income and I could not afford cremation. A friend had to help me bury my cat who passed away. If my memory serves me, it was around $100 for cremation and $40 for euthanasia. I don't think there is help affording those prices, but they do have a program called iCare which allows you to sign up with a bank account and debit card to split up the total yiu owe over many payments. It is the only reason I can afford to take my pets to the vet when they need it. It makes it affordable and reasonable. They will give you a quote and break it down to payments for you so you can see if you csn afford it. I wish you and your furbaby well. Peace!

St.Frances animal hospital on Atlantic Blvd will euthanize your baby for free if you don't have income to pay. But will not pay for cremation. So give them a call. They helped me out with my furr baby.

Try googling help with the disabled with an agency that helps with animals. Or talk with no more homeless pets for advice

Thank you I am waiting for them to call me so I can get the information. Due to my financial situation I can't ask too much, but my fur baby is like my child and I would love to have her creamated so I can have her with me always. Prices are just more than I would have ever thought. I pray that they have resources or donations that can help me. Thank you for your response. The cremation varies from 170 up to 250 from the prices i have been quoted from different vets. Just the euthanization at FC no more homeless pets is 60.00 however i don't have .60 cents. I'm going to continue to pray something or someone can help me and my fur baby. Thank you I called st Francis thats her regular vet but they are very expensive on just the euthanizing.
