We had a fantastic experience. You’ll feel that you’re in a different place especially if you dress up too (just like what we did). You will not only experience the fun and feel being in the medieval times but also learn about the history. The shows were fun and entertaining. We will definitely do it again next year. Bring cash. Most shops only accepted cash.

PROS: This place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere brings you back in time. The food is amazing, they have beer, people are nice and in character, there's tons of parking, and the property is large. There's many events and activities to …Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write to us, and for the honesty of your feedback, including your compliments and criticisms. We strive as a company to provide the best experience we can offer, and your opinion helps us to meet the needs of all of our guests. Please accept our apologies regarding traffic and parking. We will absolutely let Dennis know that his help was appreciated! If you traveled north via the New York State Thruway, please be aware that due to construction, RT. 17 traffic had been reduced to one lane through the Town of Sloatsburg. The Town of Tuxedo police closed Benjamin Meadow Road for emergency vehicle access on both days last weekend, as there were two different accidents, unrelated to the Faire, on nearby surface roads. Unfortunately, these events contributed to further traffic congestion. We will continue to work with the Tuxedo Police Department to help regulate the flow of traffic from 17A into our parking lots, as well as integrate with traffic from events in the surrounding area. We have posted information regarding traffic and road closures on our website in advance of the final two weekends. Our staff, along with local traffic management are working to ensure that this scenario will not happen in the future. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Faire.

Ahhh I loved this faire! I really wanna go back but it definitely takes a lot of saving up. The shows were so cute and some were quite intimate and small. I really loved coming here and all the options for parking while having a continuous shuttle. See you next year!Thank you, Tara! We look forward to welcoming you back to the Faire!

Amazing it was all very organized and every detail was well thought out. It was raining our entire first day and we still enjoyed wandering through the village. Love the permanent structures and how staff never breaks character. It would be …Thank you for taking the time to write to us, and for the honesty of your feedback, including your compliments and criticisms. Please know our food booths are owned and operated by independent vendors, and may not be able to combine individual items. We are glad you enjoyed your visit, and look forward to welcoming you back to the Faire.

One water bottle per guest (any size) is permitted. There is a drinking fountain located inside the front gate next to the Village Pillory for refills. No other outside food or drink is permitted; please see our the FAQ page on our website for more details http://renfair.com/ny/faqs/#general
Yes. Our site is wheelchair accessible, with the understanding that we are an outdoor event with varying terrain. Much of our site has a combination of paved roads, packed gravel, and grass. Please be aware of this when using a non-motorized wheelchair.
Hello Nancie, Parking for oversize vehicles is limited to tour buses only. We do not offer overnight camping for guests.
Normally you can purchase tickets online and coupons are available at Walgreens. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate. However, the NY Renassiance Faire is finished for the 2017 season.
Yes, just let any parking lot attendant know and they will arrange a golf cart to come and bring you to the front gate.
Each person is allowed 1 container of water/drink(so make it a huge one and not alcoholic) for a snack technically they tell you no, however if it's for a dietary/allergy/religious restriction they will allow it. However do expect to spend a ton of money. Even water is expensive
It depends on how hard it is raining. The joust, as it is a safety concern for the riders and horses. If there is lightning then any of the fights because again safety. But as they say the show must go on, so we keep going rain or shine. I hope this helps.
Absolutely, you will see many people with full blown studio setups. Many many fantastic photo ops.
Yes if you buy it online they have discount of 3 dollars per ticket. Also help you skip ticket line. You cam use barcode on phone
Also, any and all weapons must be peace-bonded. Which means they must be tied in such a way that they cannot be drawn from holster or scabbard. Bows must be unstrung or at least strung with loose twine so they cannot actually fire. Arrows must have no tip and be peace-bonded to the quiver.

Both. There is a set of bathrooms in the parking lot by the office and one set on site. There are several spots where it is Porto Pottys. There are plenty of Porto pottys and they are cleaned each night so they aren't bad.

Nothing wrong g with the parking. It's just the amount of people attending is high.
People argue with the parking guys about where they've been told to park. Holds up the line.
No restaurants 💥 plenty of food venders 💥and there are tables with benches and hopefully you either find a empty one or some one nice to share it with.👍
Hi Carly We do not offer RV or tent camping for guests. The closest campground is Black Bear Campground in Florida, NY. Harriman State Park may also have campsites available.

There is a bus from the Port Authority Terminal in NYC that drops you off at our gate and picks you up to return to NYC in the evening. You may purchase tickets as part of a package deal, which includes admission to the Faire, or bus only, if you already have tickets to the Faire. More info here: https://web.coachusa.com/shortline/booking.asp?action=ProductDetail&TRP=1&productId=3167 There is a NJ transit train - Port Jervis Line - that stops in Tuxedo. Although not impossible to get an uber/lyft from the station, they are few and far between in the area. It it too far to walk from the train station, and would include walking back down 17/17A in the dark in the evening, which is not safe.
We are open rain or shine! Dress appropriately for an outdoor event, particularly footwear. We only close due to severe weather if the county government deems the weather dangerous.
Preferred Parking is $10. General parking is free, with a free shuttle from all lots. No outside food is permitted. We have more detailed answers on our FAQ page: http://renfair.com/ny/faqs/
No, there is not.
The proper licensing and documentation for a legit service animal. Check with State of New York for specific terms and requirements.
If you come early, parking is only 10$ and it is just crossing the street
Not sure about a bus but look into the trains. There is a train station within a few miles.
Rain or shine the show goes on,I am performer there also or you can come another weekend tickets have no date when can you go.
It is a rain or shine event, though from experience i will say if its heavy rains expected. Find a way to park somewhere paved the oarking fields can be a mess
Hello, Jodi Bove has not been with us for quite a few years. Our Glassblower is Snake Oil Glassworks, demonstrating traditional off-hand glassblowing techniques each day. A unique selection of vases, bowls, paperweights, and other pieces both decorative and functional are offered for purchase.
It is mostly paved & flat. So, it shouldn't be a problem.
One ticket per person is required to enter the faire. There are adult and children tickets. There are also many coupons available. Children ages 4 and below get in free. Once in the faire, the shows are free, though most of the entertainment is from simply walking around the faire. There are plenty of food, drinks, and crafts to buy also. There is absolutely something to entertain every age group.
No there was no rental or loan services. You must bring your own. But there is ample room to use them.
Unfortunately not. Some other faires like PA have a return to the realm pass which is discounted. Some like Sterling N.Y. Faire near Oswego has discounted two day passes.
Yes! You can go to the Ren Faire website. Ubder thr tickets tab they list the Walgreens that sell the discounts for tickets.
While there are no spexific taxis in Tuexedo or Harriman, NY which would be the closest train stations you can certainly use Uber or Lyft as I do belive both have services in the area.
Most of the paths are paved but there is hard packed dirt and some rocks. I've seen many people in wheelchairs. You should all have a great time.
According to the website bags are checked and outside food and drink are prohibited. When we attended we did not notice anyone with outside food or drink. I imagine anything is possible for creative people however, it is not possible to walk into the Renassiance Faire with a cooler. There are however plenty of places to buy alcoholic beverages. Bags are checked at entry.
No, they cant get jobs because they're babies. Parents should pay for their children's tickets.
