Very accessible, and disability friendly. We had a wonderful experience, and all the staff except 1 single employee made our visit as smooth as possible with our disabled 3-year old daughter and her 2 big brothers. Wish the water park had been open, or that we had known there was one coming in August 2022. We would have postponed our trip until then. However we still had alot of fun and will just have to save to go again. The Baby Care center is amazing and such a wonderful thing to have! Many children will benefit from having a "quiet room" to relax and decompress from a fun stimulating day. Thank you for this thoughtful touch! Would love to see a second Baby Care location open in the park too. Our only complaint is the lack of food options with inside seating while we were there. Staff directed us to a restaurant/eatery in Lego City that once we got there it was closed for the entire day. That made it difficult, but we managed to find another option. Overall we loved our visit, had lots of fun and cannot wait to go back.

Friendly staff and all ride operators are very safety oriented which is so good to see. I thought the Italian pizza buffet was great quality and the seating area very nice and clean. Rides are unique and fun for kids under 10. We can’t wait to return and try the hotel out as well. Definitely worth 1 or even 2 days to experience every thing. Fun for the whole family!

1. Yes, bring swimwear and towels because there are two rides on which you can get wet (even though the main water play area hasn't opened yet). 2. The entire park is cashless. If you're bringing kids who aren't yours and their parents sent cash with them, stop at guest services (at the entrance to the park), where they can take the cash and put it onto a visa card. (This was an issue for our party, and I had to pay for stuff twice with my card and have the kid pay me back in cash -- super annoying for budgeting). 3. Food in the park was quite a bit more expensive than I thought. Our visit was early July 2022. At the time, a little cup of ice cream was 5.99, and a cone of ice cream was 7.99. A cheese pizza was 10.99; pepperoni was 12.99 (or was it 13.99). Those were the cheaper options for lunch. There are lots of stuff that was much more pricey. 4. I was impressed with the amount of shade throughout the park. As someone who burns very, very easily and quickly, it was nice that a lot of areas for standing in line were shaded. (But still bring a hat and sunscreen!)

First off the staff was super polite, very helpful and eager to answer questions. The rooms were cleans and super fun for the kids,. The food was what it was expensive amusement park high school cafeteria grade meals. Now for the park. It was really well done rides were fun. Only if you could get on them every ride had an hour wait so you can really only do 6 or so rides a day which is terrible. Ride operators moved at turtle pace so in order for us to fully enjoy the park we had to spend an extra $400 on reserve a ride. If you have the money get it only way the park is enjoyable we did one with one day without. Paying extra for parking ridiculous, get rid of that. The 4D movies were amazing don't miss these. I don't think we will ever go back due to the ride issues it's not worth over $2000 we spent to go much rather do something different.

Good afternoon, this site is already in service, someone tell me something please
LEGOLAND New York Resort is built primarily for families with kids age 2-12, but most of our rides and attractions are designed for the whole family to enjoy together!
The section that's still under construction seemed to be some sort of water park. It MIGHT get one.
There is handicapped parking and I think the parking for the day is 20.
Hi Kathy, Absolutely! You can learn more about our Park here: https://www.legoland.com/new-york/about-legoland-new-york/park-map/
Yep, it's a one day event. Go earlier than they open to get in line and make it on some rides without a long wait.
It's currently not opened yet but there is one. Update: there are few water rides (similar to the priates ship with squirt guns) being constructed. They claim it will be operating by late July.
Goshen doesn't like or want Legoland but nearby Middletown has taken and embraced the idea of accommodating the families that will be visiting this great addition to Orange County. Do yourself a favor and avoid Goshen and feel the welcoming businesses who will appreciate your families in nearby Middletown.
Hello! We will be releasing some fun, FREE downloadable gifts just in time for the Holidays. Stay tuned and follow us on Facebook to be the first to know when they are released https://www.facebook.com/pg/LEGOLANDNewYork/
Soon. And you cant build a theme park in NYC
It's open now. I believe the official opening date is set for July 4, 2021.
You have to look at your confirmation because you can buy with or without
Sure, if you are under the age of 10.
I saw a separate lane for Uber and lift drop off and pick up
Yes, there is rebuild the world, creative workshops, and building stations throughout the park
At the entrance of the park is the ticket office, the entrance is about $ 70 usd for each one, they do not receive cash, only debit cards, if you do not have a card, they will provide you one from $ 25 usd in customer service. It includes all the attractions, it does not include the food and in the restaurant the food is from 20 usd up but they serve a lot, I bought for my son and for me a single dish and the drinks if they were apart (in my very personal opinion .. It depends on the appetite ...
Their website says if the park has to close rides and such for rain that lasts over 120 minutes, they will give you a free pass to attend another day. I don't know about the specifics, if that's just the people that are in attendance at the time, or any other details.
Nope. But you can bring one of the reusable bags from the grocery store. Saw many people had those with drink and snacks.
It is Open. But Reservations Only. Get Tickets Online. (Better) Busy Days They Refuse People.
It would be the sager choice.
Yes you can reserve in advance through the website where you buy day passes
I asked the same question. NYC Legoland is new and they do not accept any other Lego passes. I was told that after July 9th ( that's when they officially open) that I can ask and see if I can work something out, but not to hold my breath. They didn't even have military, first responders or disability discount because this was just a "preview".
It is really crowded and worth waiting untill it fully opens up in late summer or fall.
It will officially open next month. Reserved appointments only for members only at this time.
No
Hi Ryan - please visit our website to apply for our Model Citizen position. Once you apply, you will be contacted with a list of upcoming job fairs. https://www.legoland.com/new-york/jobs/
If you want to buy it there, it depends on how packed the park is. Possibility of being turned away. They request for you to reserve online so they can keep track of capacity.
The loby has a bar, restaurant, a play area (shape like a castle) with slides and bricks to build. There is also a small arcade and a gift shop.
So I work for Merlin entertainments and they do close on the 28th since it is an outdoor attraction. But all LDC’s are open. We start our Christmas themed “Brictackular” next Friday.
Hotel was open this season. Probably booking for next season as we speak
Cold, but check the weather apps on your cell phone or on google for weather
No not so far. There is no requirements for Covid precautions but I would take mask with you for back up just in case things change with Covid and company guidelines.
They didn’t ask for vaccination status. They are also limiting tickets and encourage you to wear masks when indoors.
Not sure, possibly due to covid regulations only so many reservations?
10 AM is the official start time but they start letting you in by 9.45 AM. Usually if you have pre printed tickets, going through security is quite fast.
No, and there is no mask mandate on site. It is up to you if you want to where one.
The rides stay open unless there's thunder and lightning. I was there for two days. It rained lightly the first day for a few hours and the park stayed open. There was thunder, but no rain for a few hours towards the end of the second day and they closed the rides. We got a free return ticket which expires in a year since the rides were closed for more than two hours due to the thunder and perceived lightning threat.
Dunkin Donuts had coupons buyban adult ticket and get a kids ticket free. Check online also for the same deal. You can purchase tickets at the park also.
No, and please use a mask, I was there 4 days ago and I saw only the employees using mask, and I didn't see them cleaning anything
Everything is a timing issue they are way under staffed. Some days it's open because one day they may have enough people to work and the next day not. The place is very poorly ran I think they are trying to have the Lego's run the place. The hotel is an absolute disaster. No body runs that place what a disappointment. I had reservations for two nights didn't check in until 5:30 when check-in is at 4:00 was on the elevator up to my room and the people in the elevator said oh is this your first night. We said yes. They said wow you guys are lucky we didn't check in until 9:30 last night. I was like are you guys kidding me why did you stay. So we go to the room open the door and the room is still dirty towels all over the floor unmade bed garbage not taken out. We went downstairs got all our money back and drove home. To then find out that they were so booked so understaffed they had to hire an outside cleaning company to come in.
You can basically find every modern available Lego set. They also have odds and ends all with Lego branding. Hats, mugs, keychains, ect. If your child or yourself even like to build Lego sets then it has it all. You would think it's overpriced because it's a theme park but the prices compare well with other retail stores some items are slightly more but they don't gouge you.
It doesn't seem so. Very frustrating.
Yes. Burger King and Dunking Donuts have discount flyers. Buy a Adult ticket and a child goes in for free.
No matter how old you are just collect some of these Lego sets and then your grandkids can have real collectables.
There's about 5 water rides for the kids... not soak and wet rides, but water rides are there👍🏾
Check their websites as it is closed during winter season
Check their website as ticket prices shows with the total tax and excluding parking fee.
Maybe if you go to the store in the hotel only, otherwise a ticket is needed.
The hotel could be booked for one or both of the days you chose.
The Castle is a better fit for older kids.
Yes, don't expect to ride many rides. The park is understaffed, rides not running at capacity and several are out of service.
Yes. Check the website for times and pricing. Cooler weather is the best for all the walking you will be doing!
I do believe they have power for the electric wheelchairs
With no lines it can be done in 3 hours. Almost every ride there is like 45 seconds it seems.
It all depends on day of the week and time of day.
Hotel is not open yet as of 7/25/21
It's not a waterpark but you can still get wet and be refreshed in one of the rides in Pirate theme park.
No there was no indication of a limit
They don't seem to have an area for larger vehicles, but the lot was huge and definitely could fit
Taking all precautions I believe they do. They are receiving customers, so why no birthday parties
I was able to get a discount through my family's job. Prices are on website
You can bring your own food and drink
We were on Thursday the 8th and some attractions were closed. Apparently by Friday the opening was complete. The ticket was 50, but I think it now has a new price (80)
I think parking is extra
It looks like it would make more sense to wait for the hotel to open? When you book a room for one night, you get two days worth of passes included (and breakfast and entertainment and a heated swimming pool)
They have rides for the little ones, and the height limit for the other attractions is 42 to 52 with an adult. They staff was so nice to let me do a kid swap, as I have 2 boys and you need one adult per kid. So I took one on the ride and came back through the speed line with the second. Very accommodating for a parent with 2 kids. My son's are 5 and 6.
Yes
They don't have a dedicated phone number for the park. Good luck getting any information at all without sarcasm via email, chat or hotel resort.
No
If you show up at opening they will be able to help you with rebooting. The parks isn't crazy yet so you should be fine just showing up.
According to the website, you have to reserve a date online before going there. It's to control overcrowding.
No, you can buy them in person too. As you enter, you go through security and reach the entrance. On the left of the entrance, you can find tickets. They are sometimes cheaper as ours were when we went in person.
You cannot buy at the gate.
Pirates section is mostly closed (as of today) and that includes the water-park section. Unsure of when it'll be opened officially, but they didn't appear to be too far away from opening that. Otherwise, everything else was open and usable including the rides like coasters and adventures. There is one other thing that wasn't "open" but if you check their map on the website, it'll say what locations are closed/in progress as of now.
Yes
Yes as long as it's not something that has to be heated up in the microwave or something I guess sandwiches would be fine
You really have to go by car. It is more comfortable and cheaper to rent a vehicle. By bus it can take a long time. By car it is only one hour from NewYork city, or 40 minutes from New Jersey. Remember that it only opens until 5pm. It is close to the Woodbury Common Outlet.
Because they're still in their preview window, I want to say no. When we were there, I didn't see anyone purchasing tickets. Once they're done with their preview open, purchasing tickets onsite, shouldn't be an issue.
10 a.m.
That is not true. Anyone can enter. There just is not a whole lot for the 16+ crowd. Smokey's BBQ restaurant was amazing though!
I'd say it won't affect you too much. You can go on the 20th and present the tickets, they won't turn you back. What would they do, tell your kids to wait in the car while you and your husband can enter? LOL. Especially for the pre-opening period, they're fairly lenient.
Yes, we didn't need them so I don't know what they charge (might be free, I don't know) but they had both singles and doubles. They're located right by the guest service so inquire at the desk.
Yes. Unaccompanied adults are permitted. It wouldn't hurt to double check with them, though, as some rides are kid-exclusive.
The hotel is still under construction and not yet operational. Remember, the theme park and the resort isn't just for the Tri-State residents, so the people from other farther states like Maryland and Pennsylvania might visit for multiple days and need the hotel.
Not yet, but I heard that they are thinking of making one.
I believe it's for a family of 4 but I'll double check on that. As of right now, we have my wife and I, and the older son (who was 5). The little guy (was 2 at the time) didn't need one at the time we purchased it in 2019. We'll add the little guy after his birthday.
bring water and you can also refill your bottles throughout the park (their water fountains have bottle fillers)
no, half price and you have to reserve in advance. can go to their website to see what days are available.
Ok, no I don't buy a season pass is just one day pass, but when I'm trying to pick one day in July I can't choose the day.
Yes, I think the hotel would be open by August.
Yes. That is considered PREVIEW EVENT, which starting 5/29
You can't, you should have waited, since you bought before the sale. It's buying some lemonade from a stand, then seeing them change the price down 5 dollars, you don't ask if you can have 5 bucks back.
July
It's (soft) open now, planned to fully open July 4, 2021. At this rate, I doubt they'll be FULLY operational for the grand opening, though, but then I'm not a an engineer. It's fun but requires a lot of walking and waiting. Not too many places to rest out of the sun or shelter if it rains.
It's soft open, planned to fully open July 4, 2021. They open 10A, close at 5P on weekdays (Mon, Thurs, Fri) and 6P on weekends (Sat & Sun). They're closed on Tues and Wed.
Seth is correct, it's soft open now for "preview". The grand opening is supposedly planned for July 4, 2021.
No
Yes, we bought ours when the tickets first became available in 2019, obviously 2020 was canceled and they're fully honored now.
Almost open! Just waiting on the state
No, just for previews
Not yet
They were trying to open early. Only for season ticket holders from last year. Only to look around and visit the stores by the entrance. Did not work out. Looks like there trying for April 2021.
Please do not drive up to the park and ask when is it open. It is still a construction site and there are clearly MASSIVE LIGHT UP SIGNS saying so. You are trespassing by doing so and are causing a danger
Should be! All up to the gov
No
Maybe April im not sure. They posted updated online
Yes it will have a hotel , once the finish construction is complete 2121 Spring
No. LEGOLAND NY in Goshen is still under construction. Opening in 2021.
No
Contact the person who told you to go online. I am also going to there next job fair and I don't know all of the information yet. If you haven't gotten an email yet find out who to call.

Hello, The photos are to protect your annual pass as each pass is associated to only one person. You may have your photo taken when you pick your pass up at the park.
Gift, most likely possible. Raffle, probably not as the legitimacy can get very questionable.
