Yep, it's a one day event. Go earlier than they open to get in line and make it on some rides without a long wait.
Still in preview phase buy lots for the little ones to see and do in one day. Lots of moms had their backpacks with snacks and drinks. We got there around 11AM and we made it through the whole park, mind you we skipped 2 rides because the wait time posted was like 60 minutes.

I recommend zero days.
It is designed for a multi day trip, but with the current amount of rides, a one day trip should be enough. There will not be a water park.
