I've heard from numerous people that Legoland NY Resort will not allow adults in unless they're accompanied by a child under 16 years old. I know this is true for "Discovery Centers" but is the resort/amusement park like this?

That is not true. Anyone can enter. There just is not a whole lot for the 16+ crowd. Smokey's BBQ restaurant was amazing though!
