They did a lot of updates since I've been there. Getting bag checked before getting on the tram is a nice π touch. Love how they have items to buy all around the park. Way more Halloween π decorations. Haunted Mansion π» stuff My favorite π I had to look at everything. The food selection π is awesome π

Happiest place on earth but definitely not the cheapest, nor easiest. Make sure you plan out your trip ahead to maximize your chance of getting to do anything (not everything). Definitely set your expectations low for what you plan to actually get done there, it's more about the experience. There are insane amounts of people and long wait times at every corner so take the little ones to have fun, but prepare to pull your hair out and get frustrated it's just part of the experience. The employees, pardon my french, "cast members" are all very nice and great at what the do so that's pleasant. They're all great with kids and help you stay entertained.

Great vacation spot! They brought back the Electric Main Street parade -incredibly nostalgic and great vibe all around. Stars wars enthusiasts would love it as well! Also recommend upgrading your tickets to genie plus- wait time drastically reduced to nearly no wait at all!

I had an amazing time at Disneyland Resort! I visited the parks for 6 and 1/2 days and enjoyed every bit. Mobile Ordering is a must and food was prepared fast. Restrooms in the parks were very clean, even on the busiest days I visited. Rides were barely going down nor stopped midway compared to Disney World. I enjoyed my time so much, I ended up getting the Magic Key and saved a lot of money on purchases at the park and at Downtown Disney. Will be going back this year and many more in the future.

The Fantasy Tower is the Main Tower. The tower you check in at. I have stayed All the Towers. My Favorites are the Fantasy and Adverture. The in the back is nice But sad to hear the took out the water fall's.
This can't be a real question. It's the first rule you learn in economic class. You charge what the market will bear... Supply and Demand.
Yes you can; you can also pre-pay for parking when you book your reservation.
Don't think so
You have 13 days from the first day of use to use them all.
Okay, can/should are very different things here. Can you buy tickets at Disney? Yes Should you? No. Disney has limited capacity per parks right now, and is only letting so many people in per day. So you need a ticket and a reservation to enter. Just because you have a ticket, doesnβt mean you are guaranteed a reservation to enter. So you could potentially waste money traveling, show up to Disney, buy a ticket and then be told βSorry, but there are no reservations for todayβ.
Anyone with reservation and ticket
Of course. Mickey and his pals are always going.
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure park are currently still closed due to the covid shutdown- speculation is the parks will reopen with limited capacity in late Summer 2021. Downtown Disney is currently open for Shopping
Yes, max pass is Essential to enjoy as much of the park as possible.
California adventure is still open for you. September and October have Halloween parties where you need special event tickets to stay in the park past the closing time.
Yes, you can use the anaheim resort express. Nearest airport is John Wayne Airport (SNA)
There are two parking structures holding about 6 - 7,000 cars combined
Encanto characters are now featured on the final float of The Electrical Parade.
No
To all of the sit down service restaurants, yes you do (Carnation Cafe, Plaza Inn). There are a few restaurants that are walk up quick service (French Market, Rancho del ZΓ³calo). All of the rest have mobile order ordering available.
Yes I just went yesterday and they didn't ask for anything. We just scanned our tickets and walked in. However I am a California resident. I'm not sure if 5hwt makes a difference.
Right now, many cm passes are not letting anyone into the park. The system is linked to the hub now. There is a place for retired cm on there to look.
Yes, but no glass, no knives, so try for prepackaged snacks.
Would be better if you call Disneyland Park directly and ask Mickey Mouse during his customer service shift.
The Disneyland Resort holds two Parks, California Adventure and Disneyland. They are now both open but have very limited capacity. To enter you will need a ticket and a reservation for either Disneyland, California adventure or both.
A date/time validity will be indicated on it. Conditions applies and all details will be available on the Disneyland website.
Right now, Splash Mountain is the traditional water ride where you will get wet. Other water rides that are water boat attractions; Pirate's of the Caribbean, Mark Twain, Sailing Ship Columbia, Jungle Cruise, Storybook Land, Small World, and Submarines.
Big
You're never to far away from the magic when Disney is in your heart!
It's from a satirical site, not to worry... Yet ππ https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/disney-moving-to-texas/
Yes I agree if you look around you will notice there are no bums or trash around and stuff like that I am gonna say California adventure is more thrilling than the actual Disney Land but that's just my opinion if y'all have any questions about either park please contact me more than half my family works there and I go more than 6 times a year so I know quite a bit about it so contact me if you have any questions π
I am staying a good neighbor hotel, right now it's over 1k, i recommend looking at all opinions before booking, if I could I would stay on property. I feel that was a better deal, but it was more expensive.
That is depends on what you want to do, how many days you want to go to the parks, buy fast food or go to restaurants, stay at a nearby hotel or want to be inside the resort ... The cheapest option is to book at a nearby hotel, breakfast included, are good enough, and many have transportation to the parks, buy some fast food for lunch, or make sandwiches, since it is allowed to enter with food and water from outside, and buy tickets online, in Some hotels have packages to buy them right there and they are convenient.
I don't think so...
No it replaced California Screamin
Depends in hotel. Some are within walking distance. Tip: stay across from the park and dont worry about it! =)
Prices vary by date. But a single day park hopper can be as much as $174.
the ride will be modified... but it won't disappear
Go to the website but remember you need to have a reservation as well as a ticket so check the calendar. Park hopper tickets are more and you'll need to decide on your starting park (Disney or California Adventure). Have fun!
If your child is under the age of 3, then they do not require a ticket and can enter the park for free.
Yes, but due to Covid restriction issues I do not recommend it because they are limited to a certain number of people
Yes they wereβΊοΈ
If you don't mind four in a bed 10 is fine
The vaccine isn't required. But if you're an adult who is eligible for the vaccine and you haven't gotten it you need to think hard about your life choices.
No idea. An employee from Mickeyville would know the answer
It all depends on what kind of an adult you are California Adventure has the big ride roller coasters but very few if you're a drinker you can go to California Adventure however if you are the adult that enjoys all the cartoons the characters the rides with kids there is a lot to do and the Disneyland area I truly enjoy Disneyland more than California Adventure and I am a 48 year-old lady
I would bring paperwork just in case. I did not see a vest on the dogs we saw in the park.
Open to all you just have to make a reservation
i
If you are a US citizen you can enter without any problem, now if you are a resident you must make a reservation eight days before and, if you are a tourist, you cannot enter unfortunately. Enter their website and get informed. Good luck. Blessings. πβ€π
You might want to call customer care
In LA terms, FAR, don't try to do both in the same day unless you only want to hit one or two things at each
You do not need a reservation, just arrive and enter
Castmember here. It's now known as Disneyland Resort. There's three hotels: Disneyland Hotel (the original), Paradise Pier, and the Grand Californian. There's Downtown Disney which is open to anyone (no tickets or reservations needed). It has restaurants and shops offering a variety of merchandise. West of Downtown Disney are the two amusement parks, which at this moment require California residency, tickets, and reservations: Disneyland (the original park) and Disney's California Adventure (often referred to as DCA). At this moment, the team system is not running so it is a 15-20 minute walk from the Pixar/Mickey&Friends parking structure and the Simba parking lot. There's a parking fee for both.
Currently only so cal residents
Not as of this date.
Yes. Both parks are now open to California residents only.
They are very strict on mask wearing also.
We never had to show proof. Weird the site nor workers at Disney never asked. No proof of id either.
Hi Sharon, unfortunately there is no set date for opening to out of state guest. Disneyland is very tight with their restrictions now.
If a CA resident it is open but sold out. Out of state is still not allowed. Also we had a ticket from 2020 that they let us use but we had to have the actual ticket at the gate plus a reservation.
California residents only.
7 pm
No you do not, but for personal safety I would highly recommend it if you were able to. Everything is in place for everyone's safety here. Just make sure you go online and purchase your tickets before you start coming down here.
Morning. Nobody is safe, the situation remains instable, we all need to be careful and respect all the things that are in place and respect the rules. As per all Disney Parks, an impressive dispositif was put in place with a limited access to be sure that the guests and cast members can stay as much safe as they can. Disney put a lot of effort into it. Can't wait to be back in one of their parks. Stay safe.
It has not been announced yet however the state gov did say that if numbers stay low that he would fully open the state and get rid of the guidelines and blue print guidelines which keep out of state people away on June 15th. However theme parks may or may not allow a larger capacity and bringing more people in on or after that date
Not sure yet however Newsom said if numbers stay the same the guidelines would be removed on June 15th. However businesses could still keep that model
Disneyland and California Adventure will open starting April 30th. As on now there is no information on tickets sales or pricing yet however we should be hearing something soon. Until further notice state guidelines say that only Ca residents can purchase tickets with reservations and they will not allow out of state yet.
Because than it would be farther for someone else!π thankfully all roads lead to Disneyland
Use this link to find out more information but at this time, Disney has temporarily paused ticket sales. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/experience-updates/#drawer-card-park-reservations
It still remains closed.
Disneyland is not not open yet and it will be California residents only at the beginning
Is closed.
I haven't heard anything on Disneyland reopening.
Anaheim California
Depends on the day (Value, Regular, or Peak pricing) and current exchange rates at the time of purchase.
No one knows at this point. Maybe end of the year or early next year is my guess.
There is a mix of adult and children themed attractions. I would say that it is more adult than child, but there something for both.
Weather in SoCal in the fall (October on) is wonderful! Not too hot, humid, and still sunny!
It depends where you want to stay. Visit this page: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/es-us/hotel-benefits/
There are two parks. Give it at least 2 days each to have the right experience.
Galaxy edge ride is on original Disneyland park. Star Wars:Β Galaxy's Edge willΒ feature 2 signatureΒ attractionsβMillennium Falcon: Smugglers Run andΒ Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opening January 17, 2020. At Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, GuestsΒ willΒ climb into the cockpit of βthe fastest hunk of junk in theΒ galaxyβ for their ownΒ Star WarsΒ adventures. You don't need a kid to ride any of the rides. Yes, adults are allowed. Have fun. Bring the happy child in you. Just remember is a place for everyone to believe and dream and have fun.
Everyone has to leave when the parks close.
18. They even have a college program!
I just finished 3 days, as a duo of adults. We spent way more time at Disneyland. The new star wars area is amazing, so I vote for that.
is there any name like in florida its called magical kingdom..so whts park is called where we can meet princess and see castle
Disneyland: yes oversized parking and fee. click the link to see details https://www.cruiseamerica.com/rv-adventures/rv-events/disneyland-and-disney-world-rv-parks Disney world: yes oversized parking and fee
Weather is good in Anaheim year round. Where to stay? That depends on what you're looking for - Disney hotels are great but if you're going to spend most of your time at the parks you can save money staying off resort
Yes. One Uber pick up is located in front of the park entrance. You should be able to see most people lining up and the Ubers driving in and out of the pick up area. The second Uber pick up location is outside of downtown Disney area. On foot, you would come out of downtown Disney exit (which is near the Disneyland hotel). Then make a right and walk a short distance to a pick up and drop off area. It is a little farther for the Uber drivers to drive back but there is less traffic in the downtown Disney pick up area overall.
Yes, but not the variants that extend (like a selfie stick). As long as they do not extend they are permitted.
Any day you can buy it, there's no problem in that
StrollersΒ must be no larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long.DisneylandΒ began renting doublestrollersΒ on May 1, 2019. These changes are intended to help ease guest flow and congestion. Additionally, loose and dry ice are no longer permitted in the parks.
You cant when you apply for a job they randomly place you
If you're not going then she has to check in and the name needs to be hers. You can also call them to see if you can change the names.
Yes security is everywhere
Single-dayΒ ticketsΒ at bothDisneylandΒ Park and Disney California AdventureΒ costΒ $97 for adults on value days, $110 on regular days, and $124 on peak days.
Some of them, yes. 5 month old babies can ride attractions such as The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or Monster's Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!. They cannot ride on attractions such as Space Mountain or Incredicoaster.
Costco has the best package with hotel but Sam's club has great discounted tickets for the park.
No and expensive to park around disneyland. The best way to go is to either find put if you hotel has a shuttle to take you there or take a taxi. I stayed at Bona Park and we took a taxi from there and it was 23 dollars one way vs parking near Disney for 25 dollars for 2 hours.
Can what be cheaper
price is change on the holiday and season.
1 day is enough if you're good at scheduling your fast passes through the app, you plan your route well and you go on a day that is less busy. It's a lot of planning and work to make that happen, and I recommend 2 days if you want to relax and not be on a tight schedule.
Disney hotel is the best one you get to see all the characters
Yes reach out to them and they should exchange. Their customer service has been really good in my experience
Yes, I always carry wet wipes and snacks in mine. You can take bottled drinks or cans. You can't take open bottles. Carrying an empty water bottle helps as most restaurant outlets will indulge you in free ice water. Hope this helps π
Yes, ages 3 and up need tickets but ages 3-9 tickets aren't as much money as ages 10+ tickets.
It depends on if you do a package. I went to Disneyworld and had hotel, airfare, admission and food as all one price
The Grand has the entrance that is attached to DCA. It brings u right to the area near the Grand Rapids ride. They also do the bag scanning there too. Have a magical trip.
No price differences, but Paradise Pier had some great food deals when we were there. Some food stands to the right of the bridge right before you go into the pier itself.
Lunar New Year celebration will be held in Disney California Adventure Park starting Jan 25 - Feb 17
Disneyland is busy whatever day/season/time you visit. Mid-week, mid-winter is the best time to visit if you want to avoid crowds. I was there last week and the Disney Castle was closed along with the Haunted House in the New Orleans area and other things like the canoe ride in Frontier Land, so there are some drawbacks to visiting at "quiet" times. That's the time they renovate. Also, Disney California Adventure park is generally always quieter than the main Disneyland.
Amtrak connects San Diego to Anaheim. There's a stop at the Honda center in Anaheim. Southwest flies out of terminal 1 at San Diego international
If u plan to take a wagon, take one that u push, not pull.
No, disneyland is open from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 a.m and California adventure is from 8:00 a.m to 9 or 10 p.m
Definitely Disneyland.
By the manana.
Maybe on the Disney Max Pass app it would provide status?
Value tkts per day entry for one park start from $97 (mostly M-T) and go upto $135 per day single park tkts for peak days
agree
Walt also operated the company prior to it going public. Itβs a publically traded business and is, therefore, obligated to generally profits for its shareholders. Itβs not a charity. And look at the crowds it has at the prices they charge...supply and demand.
No
For 2 days for one park only, the ticket would costs $210/ person of 10 years old and above. For a 2 day park hopper (both California adventure and Disneyland) it would cost $260/person. You can bring your own food and water but it's more fun to eat the food there!
It depends on the font you choose. There's a free one
Yes you can. There are guest lockers for rent located inside the parks if you would rather not carry it around with you until meal time.
There is a gift shop in downtown Disney called the World of Disney. However, there are many gift shops inside both parks.
Costumes are only allowed if the guest is under 14 unless you come during the Mickeys Halloween parties but those are separate ticketed events. Depending on the size of the Keyblade it may be seen as a replica weapon which are not allowed on property. The resort is downtown disney california adventure and Disneyland. Costumes are not allowed on adults. You will be sent back by security.
Yeah I was just there a couple of weeks ago and was told the end of June.
A 2 Day park hopper is $248 for ages 3-9, and $260 for ages 10 and above at the gate.
Sure there are guides. But Disney employees know some phrases in Spanish. Do not worry, there are people from all over the world, they are very friendly inside the park, in fact there is a lot of Latin too and some games where the explanation is audio in Spanish
Please leave your furry friends at home!
Probably not is my guess.
Some packages are available.
You're on Google maps, it'll show you!!
Rethemed 2 the IncrediCoaster
It was an invitation
Depends on where you are going from. We stayed at extended stay America on Clementine and walked via the Anaheim garden walk was only about 10 min. 1adult 1 child we spent about $80 a day on top of the $ for pass to get in.
Google maps will show you!!
Only at the 3 Hotels. Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel
Usually 60 minutes before park opening on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (Magic Mornings in California Adventure), and 90 minutes before park opening on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (Magic Mornings in Disneyland).
There are numerous hotels around and near the Disneyland resort; some Disney-branded, others not. The Grand Californian (Disney) hotel has an excellent spa. Several other non-Disney hotels also have spa facilities.
The website explains everything.
If you are staying in a hotel near by they will have the parks hours for when you are there. Also many hotels have a shuttle to the parks. If you are driving to the park there is plenty of signage directing you to their different parking lots.
Price for tickets to enter one (1) of the parks for ages 10+ can be at least $104.00 US. I recommend checking Disneyland.com for more info.
Yes, approximately 10 minutes walking or you can take the monorail.
Keith got it right.
The price of park admission is separate from the price of staying in one of their hotels. However, if you stay in one of the hotels and purchase park admission, you can enter the parks 1 hour before general admission. During this hour, the rides have much shorter waits.
Disneyland Resort is the name of the park, rather than a specific hotel. Disneyland has two hotels in California, and you get early entry to the park when you stay at either one. The Grand Californian, their high-end hotel, is connected to California Adventure with an entrance directly into the park. Disneyland Hotel is much less pricey and located on the other side of Downtown Disney, around a 15 minute walk into the park.
