In LA terms, FAR, don't try to do both in the same day unless you only want to hit one or two things at each

Depending on when you leave 37min to 1hr. Its 35 miles. If you don't want to experience some of the ghettos stay on the freeway. Don't take shortcuts with the maps. Sends you through Compton and Korea Town. I'm used to the ghettos, most are not. Not saying your going to get robbed our car jacked , there's just things you don't need to see .
The parks are 35 miles away from eachother but can take up to an hour to reach depending on traffic.
Id say an hour is a good time. You'll most likely hit traffic.
