Weather is good in Anaheim year round. Where to stay? That depends on what you're looking for - Disney hotels are great but if you're going to spend most of your time at the parks you can save money staying off resort
It is good to visit in March or August. not too hot or too cold. It's better to go from Monday to Thursday, it's less busy. For places to stay, the Grand Califirnian resort is the best but very expensive. Prices vary depending on season and holidays. the cheapest options are disneyland hotel and paradise pier hotel, all within walking distance of the park. there are other cheaper arpund disneyland hotels but you will need to take a shuttle to disneyland.
