Store,Cafe,Campground & Equipment Rentals is located on same road as Great Sand Dunes National Park.
Its in the middle of nowhere. I didn't see any nearby when we went
It's pretty limited options but there's a small cafe that I've stopped at close by!
You'd have to go to the closest town for something like that.
now
I didn't really see any restaurants but there is a little mom and pop place to eat and buy souvenirs
No restaurant at the national Park but there are few in the cities leading upto the park... Like 20-25 miles..
It is definitely in the middle of nowhere! It is an amazing sight to see, dont let the lack of amenities deter you. I do believe there is some sort of lodge at the park but we did not go to it.
It's not exactly close.
It's not exactly close, but nothing is in the San Luis valley, but Alamosa to the SW of Dunes has several great Mexican restaurants, as well as many others. Otherwise, Crestone has a few to the North, but beware they can be a bit unwelcoming to non-locals
