Colorado can be unpredictable weather wise. Especially in June. Weather moves through changes quickly. Prepare for hot cold wet and dry AND wind The dunes,are breath taking in all conditions. Enjoy your visit!
Not much on activities. You'll learn how the sand got there and walk on the dunes if so inclined. Also take in the beauty of the area. You might be able to horseback ride at a local ranch.
