Great water/electric sites. Most sites are pretty good and have good space and views. We were in site 9 and the pavement was older and not level. I would recommend other sites before 9 but it still wasn’t bad.

Wonderful campground and beautiful all around. We will be visiting again.

Wish we could have done the nature loop. Lots of boardwalk damage. We did see an alligator. We enjoyed the short CCC trail but wish there was a better view of the bayou.

This place is amazing! The staff in the visitor center is friendly and helpful. The exhibits and film are great, but the views from the boardwalk were outstanding. Sadly the boathouse and some areas are currently closed due to hurricane 🌀 damage. See photos.

$22.00 a night but if you have a National Parks Pass it is $11.00 a night.
Go to the Pensacola Beach part... In Florida. 😀 GPS or Google Maps... N 'Drive.
The gulf side of the island is the most beautiful water I've ever seen! You can swim on either side, the barrier or the gulf. Not nasty at all!
It's a national park, so no.But there are rentals on Pensacola and Navarre beaches.
Other than the "Crocodiles", Mary Louise Wilhelm, you better look out for the Rougaroux...☠☠☠
Not sure I don't own an RV I do tents not sure on the RV rule how long you can stay in one spot
Yes they are open 24hrs, just careful at night.
Marsh waters in the Mississippi side can be brackish when stream fed. In the Florida side... on the island shoreline Salt. In the marsh areas... Mixed salt and fresh caught rainwater.
There's a road that goes through protected land on both sides, then a parking lot at the end. But no going onto protected land by car or by foot. Rules are in place for a reason.
Good Morning, You can buy a pass from the Campground Office at Davis Bayou. The visitor center does not provide any items for purchase.
Yes dogs are allowed on trails they're restricted on the beach and from the inside the information center.
No charge, it's free. Check out the Visitor Center they have cool stuff there.
The rangers I saw at the closed visitors center said the camp grounds store has the stamp for passports, but we couldn't find the camp store. There was a table display at the visitor center but that was all we saw.
Yup
No its not required. Not sure about boat rides since they all have their own policy.
We did. I suppose if you find munitions you should report that to the fort. :)
I am not sure about living arrangements. We visited the museum area.
Not on the eastern end where i go . but i believe there are some areas along the coast where they are privided. Pull up the web site and see what is there.
The ranger that did the 6:30 evening walk a few weeks ago was a guy.
Haven't been there. Google it or call them.
Yes it's a corps of engineers park fort Pickens
I'm pretty sure you can not camp out on the beach. I do know they have campgrounds all over Florida, some which are either on or very near the beach.
No. . . In Ocean Springs the physical park is on a bayou and there are lots of alligators. There are signs that day no swimming and no feeding the alligators. The beach is a couple of miles away and you can swim there and on the barrier islands' beaches.
No. Metal detectors are banned at all state parks or any properties maintained by the State. You can detect on city beaches or parks.
