Other than the "Crocodiles", Mary Louise Wilhelm, you better look out for the Rougaroux...☠☠☠

We camped out for a few days and the only encounters we had were with the racoons at night scouring the campground but doing no real harm and a baby armadillo wandering around aimlessly one morning. There are no reported issues with any crocs. It is completely safe and most enjoyable. We'll be going back next year!

No. We are far enough from the bayou that the gaters will not roam that far. There are several coons that hang around the camp ground that bear watching. They will steal food right out of your cooler. Come on and visit this is a special place.

Im sorry, i can't answer that. My dtr and i stayed in hotel, personally i wouldn't stay in a tent that's on the ground because of the gators and crocs. You never know.

I've never heard of anyone having an issue within the park.
