Public beaches are accessible to people with metal detectors, except national & state parks, as you cannot dig in any of these parks. (Taken from the internet.). We encountered two other fellow metal detector enthusiasts. Great information from both. 😁

I, myself; did not see any sign's posted as to whether or not you can. You Should ALWAYS call ahead and ask...saves alot of hassle and disappointment upon arrival.
