The house is very impressive with great furniture. The guide seemed bored.

What a beautiful old home of wealthy slave owners. Beautifully haunting. The rangers were the best. Very informative.

Everything was beautifully restored with most of the furnishings being original to the home. Barney was our tour guide and I've attended tours with wonderful guides but Barney was the best ever! He was knowledgeable, personable, humorous when appropriate and serious when appropriate. He was able to put us back in the time when it was a home and a working plantation with slaves. He encouraged questions and not-too-long discussions. An excellent place to tour. I highly recommend it.

I was joined by a couple from Michigan who were visiting the area. Stunning house with period furnishing. The story of the families who lived there was fascinating. I was taken by surprise as to why Natchez wasn’t obliterated in the Civil War. I would recommend this guided tour. Well worth it!!
