It will, but it can ruin the board. Sand is very abrasive.
Yes but you have to wax it often. If its a board you care about, I wouldn't do it. To you can rent boards at Kristi's for around 18$
It works just use a old board with no wax and smooth up the bottom of your old snowboard so theres more less friction while hitting the sandy hills
