I never saw any bed bugs there the room was very nice and clean. I was supposed to stay there for 7 nights, my daughter had gotten me a vacation package but when i booked the hotel i only did 4 nights because I was very skeptic of previous reviews that I had seen, I had a wonderful experience there so I regret not taking the whole 7 nights! All of the rooms have stoves, excepting the "studio villas", those only have shower and a jacuzzi. Great for couples.

Unless you accept some of their deals. But the sales pitch isn't that bad you get food and drinks. Gives you great discount tickets. We saved about $500 in tickets for the whole family. And only takes half hour to an hour to listen to, not the whole family has to go.

Yeah, there are no 'Special Events'. This place is super bare bones, very old (circa 1990) type of 'resort'. As another Google reviewer suggested, it's not a bad idea to call Westlake and inquire. :)

About 1.5 hrs from either side if Florida. Great things to do on either side, Clearwater Beach on the west and Kennedy space center and Coco Beach on the east side...

I was told that the water park is open at the Town Center but it's not open at the Lakes. I just left on Sunday

They allow pool floats but you need to bring your own. They do supply life vests though.

They do not have scooters ther but, if you ask them they will give the number to a company and the company will drop off a scooter to Westgate. We had that done. Also, you will have to pack the scooter around In your vehicle. They break down pretty easy and the aren't as heavy as you think and the price of scooter is not to expensive.

You can get good deals if you sign up for a timeshare tour. I own here, and it actually was a surprisingly good investment.

Yes it's a very nice piece of the resort. They ask for a lot of money up front & almost $1k a month. If you have 90min to 180min of your time to sit there & listen. Go for it. They approached me while I was on vacation with my family. That will never happen again.

It is a timeshare, it was worth it's weight, but my last experience has left me wanting. Pick a day where the dj is live(calenders are at the main desk), he is a cool guy, will play anything available. The bar and grill is where the live music and stuff will be. You don't need tickets per se, but buying into the timeshare might be worth your while.

Yes & no... There is no regular free breakfast at the Westgate Resort. BUT, if you go for a Timeshare sales meeting there is a very nice free hot breakfast. They also have many free events for owners (!!!): Lunch bar-b-que, icecream parties, & kids parties. They say on the 'Daily Schedule of Events', for owners...but we have never been asked to provide proof of that. So go enjoy, & take a 90 minute timeshare interview. Enjoy.

There are only 3 buses to the parks all before lunch and only 3 from the park all evening/ dinner time. If you travel with little ones take a car. This way you can come and go as you please based on the little ones needs. If you are doing an all day thing the bus is ok.
