Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa opened their brand new water park called Treasure Cove in March 2021. It has a huge wave pool, lazy river that goes around a tiki bar and gigantic splash pad and the whole water park is in front of the lake.

I went recently and the waterpark is nice.
It opened on March 15th and we are still here having a blast for 3 weeks. The lazy river is the best and slides are fun as well as the wave pool. I have been an owner of a 4 bedroom unit for 28 years. We wanted to book extra nights but they are sold out unless there are cancellations.
It’s actually being worked on now and says it will be completed in 2021. They are working on the tiki now and the water slides are finished, most of the tiki lounge is done besides the roof

I just left there June of this year, 2019. There are no construction in site. Just says coming soon.
