There are different room types available, it would be best to speak with to a Representative who can assist you, answer all your questions and help you find the best option suitable for you.
If you are only looking in Westgate, they do, however, you may only get it through an upgrade or if you go to one of their breakfast pitches; they may give you an upgrade if you are already an owner to try to entice you to buy into the upgrade. If not they may do so to entice you to purchase time share. I believe Hilton may do it too, but they are always probably most people's first choice because they are already a reputable establishment.
That really depends on what your needs are. If your looking for quite the main building isn't the one. I would speak with a rep..when booking explain what your looking for.
I recommend other resorts like the Hilton or different hotels like even the B hotel.
IMHO, there are many 2~3 high rise building groups around many differently themed pools. One is near the main building, one has a craft/meeting center, and another one is near the lake and mini golf course. Take your pick. All are an easy walk, on well lit, away from traffic, and paved pathways. And if you don't want to walk, there's on property shuttle service all day til late night. Our concern; is parking. So we like to be away from the main hub, and be somewhat assured that there will be a convenient spot when we return at the end of the day. Whatever you choose will be great. The check in staff is usually willing to accommodate any typical requests. Enjoy!
Staying close to the pool directly behind the building for check-in would be my ideals spot as this is where a majority of the activities are located or occur.
