Great Hertz branch. Helpful and friendly staff. Collecting and returning the car was carefree. No additional extras were tried to be sold, just like you would expect. Car was a bit worn for its age/mileage, but I think that's an LA thing. Many people, lots of traffic, so I don't think of this as a big negative. The transfer to the LAX airport terminals was smooth and the personnel was helpful. Keep it up!

I was waiting for a response from Hertz before making this public in order to help them for the future but no one has gotten back to me and it’s been over a week so here we go. This has to be the worse rental experience I have ever had. First off the bus driver picking us up closes the door on me and my wife as we are trying to put our 5 month old on the bus, we arrive at the rental location to a line of 20 people and 2 employees working. After about an hour and a half wait, they still try to upsell me. They thought they were doing me a solid by “upgrading” to a premium SUV, the only thing premium was the type of gas that it took. Car was not great in the slightest as you can see in the pictures. We get held up at the gate for another 30 minutes. Then the vehicle started making a weird noise as we were driving and warning messages came up on the dash. I called multiple Hertz locations in order to exchange my vehicle and no one would take it, they said to take it back to LAX. Finally take it back on the day we are leaving and we just sat around for 20 minutes waiting for someone to clear us so we can take the shuttle to the airport. To sum it all up, I will never rent from Hertz again. Very disorganized. If you see a deal, don’t take it like we did. I should have listen to my gut and went with Enterprise like we always do but pinching pennies was not worth what we went through

Such a smooth service. Pick up and drop off at the airport. Getting the car is so easy and they are so friendly. The car was clean and full of gas and ran well. Turning it in was very fast and easy too. And the deposit was returned by midnight of leaving the car as promised.

Arrived on a Sunday around 5pm. I was greeted by the staff. I was able to pick the vehicle I wanted according to what I reserved. Sales staff did try to up-sale me a nicer more expensive vehicle and some other things. No problem, I understood it was his job. There is $200 deposit on a credit card. Not an issue because I knew this going in. Seems the evening they are a bit slower. If possible you might want to book your arrival later. Drop off was easy, the shuttle bus is about 25 feet from the drop off. They sent me an email notification in about an hour. Note: check with your credit card company. They usually offer rental car insurance. This way you save on the daily fee through Hertz.

better if you call customer service. They work the channels better
I can only answer one question; to go To the rental place you need to take take bus outside of the terminal And They Will Take You To The Rental Place
Use their website for availability.
Yes they do . To and from the airport
Yes
e
English please? Thank you
Yes but, as someone else already mentioned, sometimes it can take forever. Last week it took almost 45 minutes to get from the Hertz location to terminal 7. Not Hertz's fault, just horrendous traffic.
They have their own Hertz shuttle bus. It should be outside of baggage claim (lower lever/arrival), look for purple car rental sign. Do not take LAX-it shuttle, it's only take you to taxi and ride share pick up area.
Yes
What other types of I’d beside passport can we use
Yeah you should find that on their website
If I am not mistaken the approximate time of return is put by the customer. You could change the return time.
For security I think it's not allowed to sleep in the parking lot...
Yes, there is a shuttle bus where uou return the rented car. But you have to be sure you took the right bus. I'm not sure, but the driver will ask you with which company you will fly
I believe so. I rented one in Chicago and left it in Los Angeles.
There is a central phone number to call for contract issues. It should be listed on your contract copy or you can Google for it. There should also be an email address for the central Hertz office customer issues.
Shuttles only run between the airport terminal and the off-site rental station. Check with your hotel for transportation options.
24/7 service
Credit cards use a chip technology now. Embossed numbers are no longer needed to rent a car, or for any other transaction.
I believe you are correct. Whether the numbers are embossed or not should not be an issue.
If you have a travel insurance, you can claim that. Otherwise not much options we have
Apparently no refunds
Yes, all the Time to and from the Airport.
I would call them to make sure they even have that car available at the time you arrive because people just go out & choose the car they want & that one may not be available
As a user, I could not answer if they have that particular car model, however, I can confirm that whenever I go they have many new car options, including many electric options that are now in fashion.
Always good to ask before renting. I had a 24hr grace period.
Super easy. But the other day they charged me for smoking In a rental that was not smoked in and was barely driven in the 2 days we had it
I know some newer cars they have carseat built in back seat 💺
It's not the distance It is per day I think that about 600 dlls for the 4 days
Call them first, then contact your bank.
Drivers ages 21 to 24 can now rent at most locations operated by Advantage, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, National
Is there a number on your ticket info? I believe there was 1 on mine. If not call any Hertz number, I'm sure they can help you
Terminal 5... there's a big purple concrete pillar
Huh.....rental car location where at LAX? Its off site....google map it. If you forgot license plate....look at your receipt.
Yes, use shuttle bus service
They should, I have traveled on the first in the past with no issues
Gilberto, there are always people who speak Spanish in Hertz LAX, at the exit of the terminal you must take the Hertz bus that will take you to Hertz. This transport is free
Yes
If at that time you have already picked up your suitcase, it will take you five minutes to find the shuttle stop and 20-30 minutes to arrive at the office, it will depend on the number of passengers who get on and off at each stop.
If possible. If you plan to leave it in Las Vegas, it is an additional charge.
If it's the same company
Yes, eat everyone!
It's a 24-hour Hertz, so you just drive in and people guide you to a spot , you get out , they check the car , give you receipt on the spot and you board a shuttle bus 🚌 to the airport. 10 minutes.
No, it's a shuttle that brings you to the LAX Hertz. Consult w/ your hotel if they have an LAX shuttle, then get the preferred Hertz to pick you up from hotel.
Yes you can, but it will cost more to leave the car at different car return
https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/reservation/#search Insert confirmation number received by mail, and last name
Yes
I'm sure they allow one way drops. Just call or go to their website.
Yes, every 10 min.
No it doesn't
I had zero problem s driving at any speed.
The international drivi g license might be useful if you get stopped by the police. California should be OK though.
Plan for 20 minutes
I think you can, but you have to talk with the agent properly to make sure they understand your situation.
When you return the car the shuttles right at hertz to take you to LAX
May need to inquire with the rental clmpanyt
Have to take it to the Hertz lot, follow the signs, then hop on the shuttle to LAX
I have had this happen with rentals in the UK and it has taken a week. You will definitely want to talk to them because if it was prepaid then you will not be getting a refund.
Yes you can, it is $13 per day per seat or if you rent a car through AAA it is free
You must reserve through Airport. For special fleet you reserve the specific car at the cars real rate. (I asked my son, he works for Hertz)
There is a free Hertz shuttle bus from the airport to Hertz. Hope this helps
Ask them when u pick up the car what Hertz location or near by or pay for the car to he pick up
What every closest to or you can have some one pick up the car
You need to go find the shuttle station first- it'll take you to the office.
You will be ok
Sorry I can't help you I took it in Los Angeles and I returned it in Los Angeles
They spike the rates if you're under 25. I think you need to be 21 minimum to rent though
Check the website for rates ..sign up for Gold Rewards to make your rental quick and painless ..one way rentals (picking up at one location and returning at a different one) is possible but costs more ..valid license and major credit card is needed to rent ..most locations do accept debit card but proof of flight in and back out will be required ..the team at the LAX location is awesome and will take care of you as long as requirements are met.
That's right
Google Q&A is usually not monitored by larger companies. Go through their help desk, they'll be able to direct you to a solution
I don't believe so but I'm not sure because I booked through Priceline and prepaid there. I did need to leave a deposit on my credit card but don't recall using my pin.
As you leave the airport, Hertz vans pass by to take you to their offices
Yes, it does.
Directly to the shuttle
I'm not sure how to fix that problem but I'm pretty sure you do have a problem. Every place I've ever rented from required the credit card or debit card to be in the same name as the license driver who will be picking up the car. I would suggest contacting them directly to figure out what to do about it. Definitely do not wait until you get there to try to figure it out my sister did this once and found herself stranded in Seattle.
You might want to Uber it I don't think so even tho there's Residential parking not sure if permit might be a factor there
Pretty sure they do. Call them.
On the arrivals level under the rental car sign
Every 10 min
Hertz is pretty good with taking care of customers requests such as yours. As others have mentioned I would call the hertz location you would be renting from or call their main customer service line. Let them know all your details and go from there. I'm sure 98.9% they can fullfillnyoir requests. I've been a frequent Hertz renter and they always took care of my needs. They want your business and will help you
As far as I know, there are no old cars in Hertz. The type you plan to hire is a model of the current year. We hired a land crouser and it was from 2018.
20 is the minimum age, however, there's insurance requirements and a surcharge for drivers under 25.
You can call the local hertz and find out if they have any
You can not cross the border in a rental car.
During the day, plan on 8 minutes to wait for the bus to arrive and load, then another 5 minutes to get to LAX. If you aren't in the first terminal though, you should add another 5-10 minutes; traffic can be congested slowing each stop.
You won't be waiting at the airport but you have to take the shuttle to go to hertz which is off airport. Not too far. When you get there you can just go to the kiosks where you will talk to a representative who will complete your booking and other formalities. You will be assigned a lot to go to and pick up which ever car you want in that lot.
Yes it is! You can program it in Spanish
They give you the option. It works perfect.
Yes you can, modify your reservation and add the car seats, it will give you tbe updated balance to reserve.
Yes
