DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. First, and this is a big one - they don't really clean the cars. They run dirty clothes across them making mirrors so blurry that you'll need to stop and clean them yourself. Second, they don't give you a car with full fuel or with good maintenance. More than once I've had this issue and they will try to charge you $20 if your fuel is off by 0.2 of a gallon. You basically have to guess and then return your car. The maintenance lights for low fluids or any other number of things can and likely will be going on. Third, forget about the class of car you booked. They'll give you whatever they have and more often than not the car will look like it's been in some minor car accidents.

Best car I ever rented amazing price given the current prices it was a hybrid I didn't ask for a hybrid but I am sure happy that was what they had. I wish all my rentals could be like this from the customer service experience quality of product on down to the return. The rate was exceptional given the current environment and then to end up with a hybrid I just decided to fill it all the way up before I brought it back it was at 3/4 of a tank when I rented it just my way of saying thanks Avis.

I called the avis customer care and the location about my late rental car return (1 hour due to traffic). They spoke to me with zero compassion like a pre-recorded message repeating the same information without really being helpful. They informed me about a late fee (after I was already late at that point). They intened to charge me 80% rental (which was way higher than my actual rental) as late charges. And so I was basically forced to rent the vehicle for another day. The car itself was another disappointment. The gave me a mid-size car even though I paid for a fullsize and the car wasn't clean. There was grass/leaves on the carpet and Cheetos on the driver seat.

I had a very bad experience with the people at the national call center. I was treated rudely and unsympathetically when I called after my local rental agency left me a voicemail message saying they'd be closed the Sunday I was due to return my car and would incur a $450 fee if I dropped the car off anywhere else. The first person with whom I spoke couldn't find any record of my rental even though I'd had my car for ten days already. I spoke to another person and she was not only completely unhelpful but never expressed any concern about my situation or any sympathy, and was unpleasant throughout my conversation with her. When I asked for her name, she rather defiantly told me that calls with their center aren't recorded so there would be no way I could report our conversation. The entire process was unprofessional. In addition to all that, the local rental office did not have the type of car I had reserved when I went to pick it up. I have not yet received my bill so I can't yet comment on the accuracy of their billing.

Call them to make sure
I'd avoid Avis if i were you. Terrible customer service and experience. You are better off with a private rental or National or Hertz.
