This was my first time renting a car from SIXT. The overall experience was outstanding and the staff ( Jocelyne) at the West Hollywood branch made the entire process extremely smooth and quick. I would definitely recommend SIXT and particularly the West Hollywood branch.

This place is shady. I returned a car I rented for a weekend with no damage and they checked it and said all was fine. Several days later I get a claim about damage that wasn’t on the car when I returned it. Since they gave the all clear when I returned it, I didn’t bother to take a photo or video at the time, but the photo of the damage definitely wasn’t there when I returned it. Don’t make the same mistake and rent elsewhere.

Debit cards are accepted at Sixt branches. Please be aware that two forms of government-issued ID must be presented along with two recent utility bills (if an in-state renter), or a round trip itinerary (if an out-of state renter). Most renters just need to bring a valid Driver’s License and major credit card. If you’re paying with a debit card, two forms of government-issued ID must be presented along with two recent utility bills (if an in-state renter), or a round trip itinerary (if an out-of state renter). All drivers with a non-US driver's license must produce a valid passport at the time of rental. Driver's license printed with non Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an international driver's license. For driver's licenses from countries not part of the international driver's license treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license. Sixt is the perfect place for any driver aged 21 and above with a wide selection of rental cars available. There is no minimum time that you need to have held a driving license. Drivers under the age of 25 will also need to pay a Young Driver Surcharge, but this is same as with all other major car rental companies. Warm regards, Sixt Rent A Car
