How long does the renewal passport take

Caroline M | Sep 6, 2022

Yes you can. Let the embassy know of your emergency. There is a document they issue for emergency travel on an expired passport. When you get to Kenya, renew ASAP. The renewal process can take a while especially if you also need to renew your id, get police affidavits etc. Take passport photos with you to Kenya to help speed up the process. Start the process as early as you can when you get to Kenya.

Check with the airline which can, at its discretion, board you. It is advisable, however, to get an emergency travel document. Obtain this at your local consulate (preferred) or follow this link: http://kenyaembassydc.org/zemergencycert.html You have to go through passport control at certain airports such as Heathrow, so my advice is try to limit the number of connections to avoid unnecessary exposure.

Fingerprints next availlable appointment looks vision 2030. With a non working dead website, phone answering just a nightmare, it looks like the Whitehouse and State house are possibly going to intervene into this localiest lifestyle of 1930.

You can leave but not return. So when you get home you have to renew it.
