The service was painless, and fast, and the stuff were very welcoming. The down side for me is that it’s hard to get them on the phone if you have any question. However, coming to the embassy to change your passport bring with you money order of 87usd. And in my case I brought them a paid return mail. So they can send me my new passport thru the mail (which is very convenient. They said it takes about a month.

If you have a copy of your passeport or Mauritanian ID take it to the embassy and report your lost passeport then the office of National Agency for Population Registration and Documents in Nktt will cancel your lost passeport and they will tell that you can come back to the embassy to do ur fingerprint and ID photo for the new one and they will mail it to come or let you when you can be able to pick it up, also from my experience it's hard and you have tip everybody to do there jobs unfortunately
