Why can nobody answer the phone ever!? I’ve been calling every single week at various times - if everyone should be vaccinated by now, why it isn’t open until now?

Hello, other than COVID-19 vaccine, no other vaccine is required by the Brazilian government to enter Brazil.
Hello, the Brazilian government does not require proof of yellow fever vaccination to enter the country. It is recommended if you plan to spend extended time in heavily forested areas. Some countries require their nationals to show proof of yellow fever vaccination to allow them back in - the US does not. If you plan on visiting other countries after visiting Brazil and before returning to the US it might be necessary to show proof of vaccination to enter them.
Hello, to vote in the Consulate's electoral zone, it is necessary to have requested the transfer of the voter registration within the legal deadline, which ended on May 9, 2018. More information here: http://cgwashington.itamaraty.gov.br /pt-br/eleicoes_2018.xml
Hello I need YOUR help. The consulate in Recife needs to give me my certificate of participation in the female EMPODERAMENTO course with dr. Ludy Green
Hello, US passport holders are exempt from visas for tourist and business travel with stays of up to 90 days.

Dear Ann, your questions pertain to US immigration procedures, on which the Brazilian government cannot officially comment. You should take a look at the US Embassy's website, which has the latest information and guidance on entry into the US from Brazil: https://br.usembassy.gov/visas/
Dear Patricia, what state do you reside in here in the USA?
Hello, the Embassy does not have a consular section. The Consulate-General is a separate, independent mission. According to their website, due to Covid, passport requests are being done exclusively by post: http://cgwashington.itamaraty.gov.br/pt-br/passaporte.xml
Dear Adriana, please contact the airline you intend to travel with to obtain this information, as they are responsible for verifying the test prior to boarding.
Hello, we cannot advise on the matter. Please note there is a ban by the US Government on anyone arriving directly from Brazil (excluding US citizens) - refer to the US Immigration and Customs for more information. For other restrictions and/or quarantine information, please check with your local goverment.
Hello, there are currently no restrictions for entry into Brazil.
Hello For immigration-related questions, please refer to the Consulate-General with jurisdiction over your place of residence: http://washington.itamaraty.gov.br/en-us/brazilian_consulates_in_the_us.xml
Hello, US passaport holders no longer need a visa for tourist and business purposes, with a stay of up to 90 days.
It is not necessary to go to the Brazilian embassy, to make a proxy, it is good for you to enter the site of the Brazilian consulate and there you will find the document for you to print and then fill in the same site look for a consulate closer to you. To find the site, go to the search and search for the Brazilian consulate in the United States
Hello, the information is on the website of the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami: http://miami.itamaraty.gov.br/en/passaporte.xml
Hello. Yes, you need a valid passport to travel to Brazil. As of June 17, 2019, US passport holders will no longer need a visa for tourist or business purposes.
Dear Frank, Brazilian consulates do not issue a visa in a foreign passport of Brazilian citizens with dual nationality. Your children will be able to travel to Brazil with the US passport, without visa requirements, as of June 17, 2019. If you need to go before, it will be necessary to renew the Brazilian passport. When traveling with the American passport, upon arriving in Brazil, it is necessary to prove the Brazilian citizenship to the immigration agent, otherwise they will be considered foreigners and will be present in Brazil restricted to a maximum of 90 days. We would like to remind you that the list of Brazilian consulates in the US can be found here: http://washington.itamaraty.gov.br/en/consulaciones_do_brasil_nos_eua.xml
Hello, the quickest way would be to apply for an e-visa (https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/brazil/online/) but that would take a couple of days to be processed. Please note that as of June 17, visas will no longer be required of US passport holders for tourist or business trips.
Hello, the official website for electronic visas is https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/brazil/online/ It is the only website endorsed by the Brazilian Government and it is safe to use, send information and make payments.
Dear Katia, the information is available on the Consulate General's website in Washington: http://cgwashington.itamaraty.gov.br/en/atestado_de_vida.xml#Atestado%20junto%20ao%20INSS

If the document is meant to be used in Brazil it must also be apostilled by your state's Apostille authority. http://cgwashington.itamaraty.gov.br/en-us/brazilian_marriage_certificate_.xml
Gabriel, if you are already registered to vote at the Consulate, your situation must be "regular" according to the consultation of the TSE website: http://www.tse.jus.br/eleitor/servicos/titulo-de- voter / electoral-situation / consultation-by-name Even being regular, it is necessary to resolve the pending issues after the elections.

Hello, to vote abroad it was necessary to transfer the title to one of the Brazilian consulates in the USA. The deadline ended last May. Check out more information about elections on the website of the consulate responsible for the state where you live: http://washington.itamaraty.gov.br/pt-br/consulados_do_brasil_nos_eua.xml
I'm not sure about that. Reach out to the embassy directly
No. Not even Tax Advisorance offers this service. Last year I had to pay via Banco do Brasil, with the support of a friend. But the deadline is not yet over, it is until April 30, midnight, Brasília time.
