Why doesn’t anyone pick calls at the Kenyan Embassy? Are there’s any employees there? Goodness! Do we need to come there physically to just get information? Too disappointing! Pathetic services... you can just as well close it down!

Exactly they don’t pick up the phone. Some of us are not in the states and we have to go all the way to dc to get answers and renew our passports. Very poor service

When they take calls, they hang it up without a word. I have had such a bad experience this morning.

I went there to renew my passport feb 2020 , it’s been almost two years without a call or text that notifies if it is ready for pickup, every time I track it down says it’s at the receiving stage, called the lady, provided all the info she asked for and she didn’t help at all, very rude and unprofessional 🙄😏! So I’m thinking of driving more than 10 hrs just to check if it’s out . The embassy is full of tribalism shiit and corruption,it’s better even to hire non Kenyan citizens!!

Useless people. I called they kept hanging up. So I called back to back 7 times and whoever I talked to was no help either. Guess I'll have to drive 4 hrs with the "hope" of getting an answer. Smdh

They still dont pick up calls or answer emails. How is anyone supposed to contact them? Why do we have a consulate that will not respond to its citizens?

Same old Kenyan corruption! Incompetent. They won't change guys.

President Ruto when you come to new York take all the staff in Washington/USA back with you and replace them with a working team. We have had better service in the past but the current team should not be transferred to other places but send home to retire. Have been trying to call for 6 months. Finally they picked today. 6 months just to answer your phone.

These days, no need to call. All info is online. For passport and ID, create an Account on ECitizen where you do the initial application and pay the fees. Then head to DC to turn them in and they will take a picture there. I was in and out in less than hour. Enough time to catch the same bus I had just arrived in back to Manhattan. Things are different now. No bribes were asked, nothing but professionalism
