Yes, different shops, have different items, some have dates on or it can be added, too.
The Lighthouse is currently open 10am to 4pm, but hours are not the same as the state park hours. Visit the Park's web site to see their hours; during the summer, the park is usually open dawn to dusk.
It was built in 1859 under supervision of US Army engineer William F. Raynolds. Source: wikipedia
Cap May is has restricted rules. Pls. Check with community.
I don't know the number of people but they come and go all day long. Great exercises well can't beat The view.
Not that we have a record of. As an active aid to navigation, the Lighthouse would be high up on the list of priorities in case of a power outage. Dealing with such an issue would be the Coast Guard, since they maintain the beacon.
Yes, the Lighthouse is open every day. The hours vary, so best to visit our website to get the hours for the day you want to visit.
Yes, it is still open daily. The hours vary so it's best to check our website for the current hours.

there are good restaurants in washington street mall, cape may...you can explore good food in that street....
The free museums were quite nice. There was a festival when i visited and we donated money and bought from vendors. Lots to see and do without actually climbing up the inside when you purchase tickets online or in the shop outside. Beautiful items in the shop, too.
To my knowledge . The park is open. Call cape may point state park to see if the lighthouse is open for tours. Weekends are usually a good time to call.
199 narrow winding stairs to the observation level.
Cape May light house is open, till 5 PM.. it's has a beautiful view, clean environment, and great hosts!!!
Yes, the Cape May Lighthouse is open 9 to 5 daily. The Emlen Physick Estate, which is Cape May's only Victorian House Museum, is open for tours on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 11:15am; 12:30pm, 1:45pm, and 3pm. Best to visit capemaymac.org to confirm and get tickets. Lighthouse tickets can be purchased at the Lighthouse.
Yes, they are open and you can walk the steps. Go to there website for more information. Go to Google and search cape may lighthouse for more information.
Yep, not sure about hours, but it's 10$ a adult, 5$ for kids and veterans, we went around mid day
Yes, generally 10am to 4pm, but the Lighthouse is scheduled to be closed for painting Oct. 19 to 23, so check MAC's website before visiting, just to be sure.
A lot of the stores in Washington Square have the same stuff. Go earlier in the day to get good parking. The souvenier shop at Sunset Beach has very reasonable prices. If you want a great pretzel, there is a pretzel shop in Rio Grande. ( everything pretezels are amazing). Bella Vida is great for any meal; ask for Jimmy.

Yes, the Lighthouse is open daily. Hours are currently 10-5, but best to check capemaymac.org for the current time when you plan to visit.
No there is No Air conditioning in the light house itself. But lovely breeze if you make it to the top
If you mean a view of the beach, absolutely! As you climb the lighthouse, there are windows at each landing and each faces a different direction. So, you'll get a bird's eye view of the beach, Cape May Point, and other areas nearby. Of course, at the top on the watch gallery, you can walk around the entire beacon and get great photos.
You can certainly see it, but the gate to the actual Lighthouse compound is locked and the State Park closes at dusk. If you're interested in seeing it at night, MAC offers Full Moon Lighthouse Climbs. It's an opportunity to climb at night and the view of the surrounding area and the water is spectacular! Check their web site for dates and times.
1,884 inches, or 157'
About 2 hours use the parkway to the end
There are a bunch of wineries in Cape May County, plus breweries and distilleries, so there are lots of ways to spend a day touring and tasting. Best to Google Cape May County wineries to get the list and directions. As far as rentals, there are plenty of choices there, too, from house rentals (although most would not rent for three days) to hotels to B&B inns. The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May is a good source ; they keep a list of which properties have availability and also of Realtors who handle whole house rentals.
There are a lot of ramps lead to the beach
