While dogs are allowed on the Lighthouse grounds, climbing with them is not. Service dogs are, of course, an exception but even for them it's not recommended. The spiral staircase with the open gridwork steps is very uncomfortable and frightening for animals.
Dogs are not allowed on the beaches during Summer season. Only from November thru March. It is also a carry in carry out park.
