The free museums were quite nice. There was a festival when i visited and we donated money and bought from vendors. Lots to see and do without actually climbing up the inside when you purchase tickets online or in the shop outside. Beautiful items in the shop, too.
You can look around the outside of the lighthouse at no charge. It costs to climb the 99 steps to the top. I had no interest in climbing those steps. The museum at the ground floor is free. You can climb to the top at night. My daughter and grandkids climbed to the top at night while it was raining. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Admission $8 adults; $5 children (ages 3-12). Tickets may be purchased Online or at the light house.
Cost of the ticket? Any discount for students?
You can visit the surrounding area including the battery on the beach for free, i believe you pay to walk up to the top of the light house
A ticket is needed but you buy it at the lighthouse!
