Every 30 to 31 steps there is a landing for breaks with small window view of outside and posters with historical information. I believe approximately 4 to 5 landings.

There are 199 steps to the stop. There are several landings along the way, where you can look out at different views of the surrounding areas, as well as interpretive panels that explains the Lighthouse history and construction (and also gives you a chance you rest!)
