Today, at The Arsenal Public Restroom, I was denied a public bathroom access with my 10lb service dog. I was told to “leave him outside”. He is not just a pet. All Service and ESA animals consider to be a “medical tool” by a federal and state law. And denying them is discriminatory. I have necessary documents with me. I fly with him, I go everywhere with him. But apparently I can’t use PUBLIC restroom. I was alone, I couldn’t leave my dog with a friend. I would have to leave him outside where he could be taken. All that happened in a very rude dismissive form. In front of 4 other male guards. No understanding. No courtesy. No willing to help. Very humiliating..

This building is great to look at due to its symmetrical design. It can be found in Central Park, New York City next to Central Park Zoo. It was built between 1847 and 1851 as a store house for arms and ammunition for the New York State Militia. This is the second oldest building in Central Park, the oldest being Blockhouse No 1, which was constructed in 1814. If you are in Central Park, head towards the Zoo. The building is well worth taking a look.
