What a disaster! We paid $125 for the "RIP" (VIP) tickets that included a special line to get in, seats, 2 drink tickets and food. Everything was horribly disorganized, there was no signage anywhere to direct those of us who over paid for tickets where to go. Despite having priority tickets we waited in a 25 minute long line to get in, part of which was spent in the "tunnel of terror", which was a long, brightly fluorescent lit hallway, packed with people, but still with fog (?) And 2 or 3 random Halloween decorations. I'm not exaggerating, I wish I had a picture. It was so sad. Once inside we waited in another 20+ minute line for the only bar where they were taking drink tickets to get our drinks, to then have to wait in yet another line to get the "food". Oh man, guys. The food. see pictures. For $125 there were cheese cubes and crackers, sliced fruit (only melon was left by the time we got there), cheese curds (more cheese!), some kind of pot sticker (? Again, nothing had signs or labels), chicken wings which they attempted to dye black, I guess to be scary? They looked totally unappetizing, had no flavor, chewy skin and were only barely warm..... And then chocolate cake (which was gone by the time we got there), and chocolate chip cookies that were hard to tell if they were stale or if they were supposed to taste like that. The highlight of the evening was the TMBG concert, where even they were poking fun at the venue/ambiance. I would venture to guess a majority of the people with RIP tickets were there just to see the band, and I feel totally hoodwinked and ripped off that they used TMBG to lure me to an event with $125 tickets to be served Costco cheese cubes. 😑 Don't recommend and won't be back next year!

This was a meh experience. This place is hyped wayyyy more than it should be. We had to wait 40 minutes in long line to get in the bus to reach to shocktober. Upon reaching there, we had to wait another 45 minutes in line to get inside the haunted house. Now I am not sure if this was because of Covid but that was just tiring. We had tickets for 8:30 but by the time we were inside, it was 10:00pm. They did not space us out properly and sent 3 groups together. When the group ahead of us got scared, we would hear their screams and already knew something was coming up, so it was not at all scary for us. Very few actors and very casual; not scary. The overall tour of the house is for 8-10 minutes max. There were some really good illusions inside the house and they paid good attention to small details but not worth $40.

This place is amazing i could go on forever how fun it is! I love it so much but i give it 4 stars because i felt extremely sick after the rotating cylinder and the fog and mist made it worse to the point that i had to leave. Now don't let me stop you from going though! Its truly something to remember and all the staff and workers and nice and they are always there to help if needed!

absolutely. went last year and best haunted 'anything' i've done. make sure you have time to do both the mansion AND the basement
I would say it is not Wheelchair accessible as there are several staircases and no Ramps it is a historic landmark built in 1874. It is dark and tight spaces And I would not recommend going through with a walker or cane either
$40 at the door, $36 online ahead of time (which include $1 service fee)
Yes, tickets are available at the gate
For 2021 season Yes!!! Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night until October 30th
$40 in person $37 online
I wouldn't recommend in case she gets scared or trips
Entrance but you have to pay for other activities
Most of the scares involve your senses; such as intense strobe lights and moments of sudden total darkness, a few moments in a tunnel that has material on the walls that makes it a very tight and dark experience. I think it depends on the kid, if your 8-10 year old can handle the visual and physical discomforts then the house is fine. No scenes are overly graphic. It is all PG-13. Plus the actors will stop and help you to an exit if you say "let me out let me out" so there's that.
I don't recall specifically, but I'd print them out to be safe
You can still buy them up to an hour before closing
Each ticket is $40 if you buy at the event or $35 ($36 with service fee) if you buy ahead online.
$40 at the gate
