Hell of a venue, get the lawn chair rental if you're sitting on the hill, you'll thank me later...

This place holds many amazing memories, despite the many name changes. It's still as expensive as hell and needs more bathrooms but it will forever hold it's own place in my heart. I treasure every show I have seen here. And hope for many more.

Amazing it was a great night Awesome show friendly workers clean facilities
You should be fine like Zachary said above. My husband & I recently went to see Miranda Lambert & my husband brought his vape mod in a pouch that he had on his side strapped to his belt. He went through the metal detectors & he was also checked with one of those wand things afterwards & they didn't even ask him about it. But just to be on the safe side take something with you to show them that it's for medical use just in case if they ask. But honestly I don't think that they would say anything, they probably know someone that's diabetic also & know how important it is to take the meds when you need to. Best of luck to you, hope this helps you out in some way. Hope you have a blast at BFD!
The lawn chairs have a height restriction. Check their website for the exact height. And I've never been let in with beverages except water and those have been for all day festivals
Parking is free unless you want reserved parking. Next to the reserved parking is the free parking. I went Sunday for a concert and didn't pay anything for parking and was able to park close by.
How close is handicap parking . I have a friend with a boot on due to medical problems

Is the VIP Club access worth the added price?
Cathy Burns | Nov 6, 2019
Jeff Norton | Nov 6, 2019
It depends on what you value, but I will say that in the summer, it is worth it for me because of being able to get a drink in the air conditioning. Drink lines can be quite long elsewhere, and VIP was not when I have gone. It is a nice experience, and you should probably check it out for yourself. The value / price equation is quite personal. VIP parking is almost always worth it for me.
We had gotten lucky when we had went. We had a soft sided cooler they did not even look inside of. They also told us no blankets so my wife wore our sheet to sit on as a sarong.
For Jason Aldean Friday night, I have the Wolf Moon Package. What time does the Q&A and Acoustic show start??? Need to know what time to get there.
Thanks!

I would call the number on ticket for that or who you bought the tickets from
We lost keys on Saturday at the Styx/ REO speed wagon concert and I cannot get in touch with anyone to see if they were turned in. Is there a separate # or contact ? Cannot even get into the gates to offices to speak to anyone. Thank you

Live Nation runs their security. Id contact them
I lost my keys in the grass area at the Styx concert on July 23rd—is there a lost and found number or a website where I can contact someone?
Debbie Schleuse | Aug 7, 2022

Guest services by the east gate may have them if someone turned them in. There is a phone number on the website. Also you can go up to the box office they may be able to help you.
TicketMaster says tickets can only be retrieved with "original credit card of purchase" AND "a valid photo ID".... Our tickets were purchased through PayPal, so there is no card. Will this pose a problem on concert day?

As long as you have your email with the tickets it should be fine
Yes, they have merchandise tables on the east & west side entrances. Depending on the artist performing that day the t-shirts can be pricey. When we went to see Miranda Lambert the t-shirts were $40 a pop. Also just to give you a heads up Dos Equis Pavillion which is a Live Nation venue is a cashless facility. So just take your card, but if you have cash only you can go to guest services & they can put any amount of cash on a pre paid debit card. Just remember to take plenty of money for merch, food & beer. And most importantly have a good time! 😉
This is a user forum, with answers from other Google users, NOT the business or place management/owners. You should probably contact them directly. This is not the place to do that.
I went to BFD and we were not allowed to bring in a blanket. It is first come first served. Not really a bad seat anywhere in the lawn sections. The sound is great! And TV’s to see the stage.
Depends on the concert. Yes at maroon 5. And if you didn't have proof of a covid test or your vaccine you had to pay to get a test done at the venue. Other concerts might not be so strict. I suggest that you check the website for each concert.
WHERE IS BEST PLACE FOR BROOKS AND DUNN JUNE 5 TICKESTS?

Personally I'd go directly to the venue, the tickets are cheaper at the venue opposed to online cuz you won't have to pay the extra fees of doing it online....
We went into a concert last week with a box of candy in a purse, with no issue. I think as long as is small and discreet, there would be no issue. They allow you to bring water bottles too, as long as they are unopened.
Does anyone know where the box offices are located once you get in?

They have 1 on the right of the West side gate
And when u get in they have guest services for upgrades
If u need guest services don't use the east side
as for as them working for u & u being the reason they are working there
Doesn't matter to them
Do we have to be 18 years old to enter the concert on August 8?
I have tickets to this place to see Breaking Benjamin September 10th 2019, but when I look on my ticket app it says Shinedown will also be there the same day, but they arent in the lineup or on the ticket. Any info?
Emily Owens | Nov 6, 2019
Tony Westbrook | Nov 6, 2019
It could be a mistake on Ticketmasters part or they could just be joining the tour for the one day. But those are just guesses, I honestly don't know.
the time it says for a concert does that mean the doors open at that time or the concert starts in general?
olivia hatley | Nov 6, 2019
John Daughrity | Nov 6, 2019
Doors open before...you get your seats, get to eat, drink, find people and hang put
Water up to a gallon in a manufacturer sealed container (no refilling a gallon jug). Snacks and food can be brought in clear zip loc bags. No mcdonalds or other fast food stuff. No sodas, sports drinks, etc, or alcohol. Expect a thorough bag check upon entry!!!
If you bought tickets for seating area its like the atat statuim. But if you bought tickets for the lawn area seats are restricted. Chairs cant be no higher than 9 inchs from the ground. Just to let yall no. But if you had a blanket it works best.
Was just there last night. Took in 2 small soft side coolers, carrying 6 individual bottles of water, total of 1 gallon. T-mobile customers get free chairs. There is a lot of information on the Pavilions site.
At the opening of the gate and walk to the concert because getting out of there is hell it will take about an hour if you park at the entrance of the concert.
Pit is closest to the stage and speakers. If you don't mind staying on your feet for the entire concert & your hearing is concert ready, you should be good. Be aware that going to the bathroom or getting drinks or snacks will take FOREVER due to long lines and people who don't have good seating are likely to sneak into any empty spot they can find. We had to "evict" people from our seats at the Ozzy concert.
The rows and seats are actual chairs you can sit in. There is standing room in the very front of stage, but they are not seats. You will stand throughout the entire concert. The GA Lawn is outside and you can bring your own chairs/blankets or you can rent them after you get there.
Is handicap parking free? If I pay for VIP parking (where handicap parking is located) am I guaranteed to find a spot or do they oversell parking passes?
Anita Krantz | Nov 6, 2019
joshua ditino | Nov 6, 2019
At this location parking is first come available.
Not oversold but also not enforced as far as handicapped parking is concerned.
Some inconsiderate people can get away with illegally parking in a handicap slot.
You can bring your own food, but it must be in a clear zip lock bag. You can bring bottled water, but it must be unopened. Low profile lawn chairs are allowed, but no umbrellas. Aside from that, blankets, quilts, etc., are allowed as well. I would suggest a hat and sunscreen, too.
They allowed what was on the list under the event and the others were right that it depends upon the event. We took both a soft sided cooler and camp chair to zztop

It's never quite that easy. It's Texas, so winds greatly effect this. Rain almost never falls straight down. I'd say that the last 10 or so rows are questionable. Double letters, like AA, the last 6 rows in each section are exposed directly overhead. If the winds are just right, all seats are protected. If wind is unfavorable, the rain can come quite far into the single letters
Can tickets be bought there in advance and what hours?
Linda Escobedo | Nov 6, 2019
Cjr M | Nov 6, 2019
U can not sure about the hours, but it's easier to order them online & get the mobile ticket.
This is a public venue, yet it is outside so smoking, smoking weed, and drinking are all condoned. It can reach extremely high and low temperature levels as well as rain or sunshine which can cause wetness or sunburn. Everything is extremely costly. I.E. 1 24oz. Beer =17$import 13$ domestic. Sodas are 7$ 24oz.
Just got back from the ozzy concert, is there any way I could buy a tape of the show?

Ask a operations officer for event specialist, normally customer service or hanging around the pit section. They will be able to tell you if it was recorded
Is the concert still on for the night even though its raining
Angela Clark | Nov 6, 2018
David Gary | Nov 6, 2018
Shows are typically rain or shine (should say this on your ticket). The only thing that would change this is lightning or severe weather. You can also purchase upgrades on the website on the day of the show to get reserved seats if you are in the lawn for a discounted price. Any major issues such as a cancellation would be emailed by Live Nation to the purchaser.
If it's a rock or metal show. You can take in a drawstring backpack. No other large bags. You can take in a gallon of water or other clear liquids in smaller bottles that fit on your person. A low profile chair like joz cash said.
We took ponchos, they were easier to carry. Umbrellas drop on the ppl around u, and block the view behind u. Go with ponchos they r a dollar at Walmart or target
Does the venue have a "down season"? I'm not able to find any concerts coming up for fall events.

they have to shut down during the State Fair of Texas (end of September to end of October) and I'm sure they are closed during the winter months due to it being an out door pavillion. here is the schedule I found on their website

Ticket concert time is 7:30 how early can we enter gates?
texas bear | Nov 6, 2018
Cjr M | Nov 6, 2018
Gates open 90 minutes prior to any show, it's always easier with traffic & parking to leave early. Hope that helps u...
Parking is free unkess you decide to pay for VIP which is rigjt next to tje entrance. If yiu have lawn seating tickets yiu can rent the lawn chair yet im not sure if you can brinf yoir own. But since i brought blankets myself in then the lawn chairs can also go in. Hope that helps.
VIP parking is in the west lot (where artist buses park). Will call is on the east lot side. I pretty sure you show you receipt with your phone, computer printout..etc. and they will let you in the VIP side.
Depends on the event. I had free parking because of the tickets i bought. If you have a ticket just make sure if it says free parking anywhere on it. If not, it just depends on what event is going on.
Yes if it's unopened. Or you can bring in an empty reusable bottle and fill it up at the water fountain. And they don't purse check very well every time I've been.
Generally yes. I have never seen a concert without fast pass. It will be in the upgrades when they release them for that particular show. It's generally around $15-$30 it's a separate line to the far left that gets in early 10-15 minutes. Useful for pit and lawn people.
You can't bring in anything but water, which has to be in a conpletely sealed plastic bottle (store bought). There are plenty of places in the pavillion to buy drinks though.
Can't help fully on the drive, but its usually parking lot 11 or 12 for Dos Equis. There are a lot of things in thay area so there are signs. The lawn chair pickup are inside and to the right. It's a green tent with a big sign. Also, if you haven't paid for the VIP parking you dont need to. The rest of the parking is free and it's not much further than the VIP. Have fun and if you want closer lawn seats get there early.
Depending on how big the crowd on the lawn. They will announce on the day of the concert. If they allow the folding chairs, it had to be the low profile seat. No taller than 8 inches(?)
If you going to Godsmack this Sunday, no blankets/towels allow.
The box seats are fairly close to the stage and have tables and table service, but they're right there out in the heat with all of the other seats, no fans or AC.
The VIP Lonestar Cabana isn't even a tent, nor is it air conditioned as the VIP ticket says it is. It isn't even covered. They had a couple of small awnings with two or three seats under each and the rest of the seats were all uncovered. No discount on the overpriced beverages either. They also advertised air-conditioned bathrooms but the only bathroom I saw there was a porta potty. And only one of them. I did not see the Live Nation VIP lounge which is supposed to be an actual indoor Lounge so I can't really say anything about that but I know the description for the Lonestar Cabana is very misleading. And definitely not worth the extra money we paid to get the VIP pass for it.
Lol...it seems like when they felt like it. I'm sure there is a set time, but it happened by chance as We walked up to it 30 mins before the event. I highly recommend arriving earlier, though
To my knowledge you aren't allowed to bring in food. Only water and the water bottle had to be factory sealed. The bottle can also range up to a gallon in size.
Yes, there's a smoking area. If you don't blow major clouds and do it secretly you may get away with it in your seat. Not that I am speaking from experience lol
We stay in the arts district downtown. I usually hotwre it. You can also googled it but check the retired.
I’m attending the concert this Saturday, and we have the lawn seating. What time do you suggest getting there to be at the front of the lawn?
Jenny Stassen | Nov 6, 2018
Daisy Merryman | Nov 6, 2018
In my own experience, there's no need to rush because most people sit in the pavilion itself. When I was there, it was almost empty on the lawn. However, an hour ahead may be best.

Let me check on intravenous antibiotics. Sure it's ok - prob have to leave in medical but I can find out. Soft sided coolers / cooler bags are allowed Water - yes empty bottle or factory sealed. So they can bring the meds in but we ask they stop at medical first for them to be aware and have to see what they are bringing in. So need to enter thru the east side
Hope you all enjoyed The Foo! We started something new this year, our tailgate! Its two hours before doors open. $35 dollars gets you into the party. There will be games and beer, of course! $4 domestic $5 imports $6 craft. Beat the Friday Dallas traffic and come early!
Looking at the website now and it does not specify. You're better off calling the office and asking. It would be tough do to the slant of the lawn. You would have to park it on the side so it doesn't obstruct views.
No, that won't be necessary. You have a great performance to watch and enjoy. Why would you want to ruin it by altering the mind so much that you'll be in a drunken state and won't be able to remember anything at all the following day?
What time does the parking lot open for Foo Fighters? If I have a tailgate pass ( I have a pit pass) can I get my spot in the pit before the regular ticket holders?
I ordered Chicago tickets how long does it take to get them?
Chase Chenault | Nov 6, 2018
Minh Nghi | Nov 6, 2018
Depends on how you ordered them and what method of delivery. Often e-tickets are sent to your email or Ticketmaster app. Will call is different and so is mail...
I always LYFT. They have an area that is designated for them right near the entrance. I never waited longer than 10 minutes because they have so many of them waiting after an event.
Many options in the downtown area which is very close. If you want quaint in a fun funky area with great nightlife options check out The Belmont Hotel which is a little further but only 5 miles. Uber and Lyft are both transportation options.
You need to check the website and refer to the specific event... restrictions change based on the artist and crowd. I went to concerts 2 nights in a row was allowed blanket and small backpack on Fri, everything restricted the next night. Check before you go!
