Do they search your pockets and/or bags? I'd like to bring my own alcohol.

You are supposed to empty your pockets and the go through the metal detector. There not going to pay you down. Just don't have any metal on you.

Yes they search, and you do go through medical detector. However, check the information related to the event as to what you can bring, my event said you could bring a cooler as long as it wasnt a hard case or styrofoam one. Depends on the event.

Yes they search bags and have you take everything out of your pockets before you go through the metal detector.
