I called to ask about a stray cat that I had been feeding outside each day and noticed she was getting bigger. I realized she was pregnant and called to ask about how they could help as I cannot help with a cat and her litter. I was worried about her having them outside and surviving. They said she would most likely be euthanized. That is not ok.

I adopted a dog today and the staff and Volunteers were really nice. Paperwork was super easy. If anyone needs a dog, cat or bunny I suggest you to go there. They need a forever safe 🏡 ♥️

I just went in there to look at some dogs because I’m thinking of getting a dog. I go to the dog section to look but I was worried because the cages are so close together and the loudest dogs are in the front. So, I proceed to ask the lady at the front desk of the dogs are going to jump on the cage when I walk in. She’s like “I don’t know, they might.” She could tell I looked uneasy and said “well if that’s your concern then I guess our dogs aren’t for you.” Saying all this while she’s laughing. I know I’m not crazy, but I’m a black female and I felt like she was saying like the dogs aren’t for me because I’m black, indirectly speaking. I called to complain, the lady didn’t care and didn’t apologize for how rude her receptionist was. Doesn’t make sense

We found the most adorable Bunny at at Joint Animal Services in Olympia. They are booking same day appointments right now. So call and push option 0 to speak with an employee and book an appointment. You can also look online at their website which includes current pictures of animals they have available. The employees were super nice and let us take our time picking out the right Bun. They gave us a nice box with a homemade pad in the bottom to take him home in. The paperwork was easy and and it only cost $15 to adopt a bunny. (Cats and dogs are more) The facility is extremely nice and clean, and the animals look very well-cared for. We enjoyed our experience.

Simply call the number for Animal Services and follow directions.
My cats (only one now) are always indoor only because it's my responsibility that they don't get stolen or killed. That said, a #Catio is a BRILLIANT idea. Google "Catio" and/or look on YouTube. They can be as small as a window, or as elaborate as a Palace...lol. Your neighbor is being reasonable by even speaking to you about this; MANY won't. Good luck...you're on the right track! Feel free to PM me. 🐈
It's the first business day of the month. And they are closed on Mondays.
There are grants available. You should drop by and ask if any are currently available and which Vets participate.
yes, I'm annoyed by people who get dogs just to let them bark all day. Whats more, most people seem oblivious to it. Drives me crazy.
Call animal control, the humane society can help get you connected to the right people
You Can Always Take The Pet To The Nearest Animal Shelter Or The Nearest Vet Clinic
Don't surrender call Roxy 360sevenzerosix90oneeight dont surrender your pup. Call to roxy 360sevenzerosix9zero1eight
Yes, abdolutely they have trapd available. If for some reason they don't right now, contact Feline Friends. Thanks 4 doing ng the right thing!!
Sounds like he is a dominant Male I had that issue once also. But animal services is a drop off maybe you can trap him? That's what I would try
You are looking for Animal control but they are County
They do accept all donations of food toys beds etc.
I would call animal control they will come out and get him out of your house!
Brian S, people like you make the world worse. For the Rooster - Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap. For Brian - something similar, finish the night off right.
Learn a little more about dog breeds and caring for a dog before actually getting a living animal that you're not prepared to care for.
They charge here to cover vaccinations and spay/neuter. Worth it in my opinion since I would have to get those done anyway and probably at a much higher cost.
I don't really know, maybe you should contact them.. hope it all works out..
It is $25 for the euthanasia and $25 for cremation up to 50 pounds. It is $5 more for each additional 20 pounds for cremation. If you want private cremation you will need to call the cremation service directly, 'petland.' Currently Animal Services is by appointment only so you would have to call first. I'm sorry, it is a very hard decision.
Not sure bit u. Can go there website r call them and find out
You may have to look for other Veterinary their one in Shelton I don't remember the name of the veterinary but they are good.
Animal Services is scheduled to re-open on Tuesday..
Yes they will take it
I doubt it. Think they would need to be sealed.
You can also search the internet for private non-profit cat rescue groups in your town.
I think this would have nothing to do with animal services but the state Department of Fish and Wildlife would have more knowledge and more information about what it might be able to do about it if anything.
Yep just give them a call and at least if you can get on a list that you're interested in a certain kind of animal 🙂
There are Pins on The side of The building Where You Can Drop your Animal off and fill Out the paperwork i Don't think it costs anything
The other issue is you could have been close to a nest and it was trying to fool you into thinking that it might be easy prey on. This is common among many ground nesting birds like ducks.
I don't know, but I would call and ask them directly.
Because they only put animals down as a very last resort they do everything they can to provide medical care and find homes for them
I'm Not Sure How Much a Small Dog would Be You Should Be able To Call Them and ask Questions
Yes They Have a Night Drop off it's in The back on The right side of The building
No There are kennels in The Receiving area and There's a form You have To fill Out and There Might Be a Small Fee That You Have To Pay Just Remember That it's Your Pet That Your Surrounding
You will have to call them directly. They usually do not have puppies. I believe there is an adoption event happening at Petco on black like boulevard tomorrow. I'm pretty sure they will have puppies
I'm actually not sure this time however I had heard it was around $60
They do. And they take care of the remains. Sorry for your up coming loss
I agree Animal Services can help you with that for a low cost of about $30 and they will work with you on it. If you need a little help with that I could possibly help you out I could go to Animal Services and put some down on your name.
You will have to ask them directly at the time because the shelter only houses animals that come in as rescue or lost and found. I have not seen very many Australian cattle dogs there and I don't believe I've ever seen puppies their. There might be a cattle dog rescue somewhere in the state but I'm not sure.
You can volunteer at 14-15 with an adult, 16 and up without an adult.

This is a question for an animal control officer.
There is a Shih tzu at the shelter right now. Not sure if it's yours.
Yes, they do on the side of the building. Thete ate alsi forms you can fill out about the animal.
Call them or stop by and write them a check. Thanks for asking this question might help save the lives of our furry friends.
You can call thier number to ask about animals open for adoption, or just go into the shelter. Its located on Martin Way
No but this is a very good shelter. They do everything they can for all the animals they get unless they are way over capacity or the animal is really bad off. They have to consider the safety of all the rest of their animals as well. I have rescued many animals over my time and I go to Animal Services to adopt new animals as well as getting assistance finding animals that have already been adopted but are now missing.
I am not sure the temp either, but I have had to call to get a cooking dog out of a car and aid to the animal.
Drop it off here in Thurston county for free. You'll have to fill out some short paperwork.
There is a shelter on Marvin in olympia but I can't remember the name. Its a really good place. You might also try calling adopt a pet. I think they come to you.
Go in fill out application, and find a animal you want
I have had great help with animal services you just going to have to wait until tomorrow to call as soon as they open
You leave the dog in the after hours kennel in the back where you fill out a,surrender form and pay the fee. There is a slot to leave both in. Usually, there is always someone working after hours in case of an animal emergency who will observe your drop off from security cameras.
I beleive so as long as it has a regular breed in it
If you go to the facility, they have binders with lost/found dog reports that you can look through. If your dog isn't there, then they have a form you can fill out to place in one of the binders.
Is your cat chipped? If not, it will be very hard to relocate him if someone brings to a shelter
Sorry, was flustered when writing, site said claiming of animals started on Tuesday... they are closed Mondays? Was having trouble navigating site on my phone, will try harder on computer.
They will take them i dont know how much if it even cost anything, worth a phone call
