They do. And they take care of the remains. Sorry for your up coming loss
They do not generaly do that service, but I things may have changed. Our veterinarian as always does it. I don't remember what it cost for my 17 lb cat... I would say to call around if you are looking for the least expensive option.
I'm not sure if they provide euthanasia services for the public. I do know that whoever performs the euthanasia will ask if you want a private cremation which costs. Otherwise a mass cremation is provided . I recently had my girl euthanized. I did it through the veterinarian. I would advise contacting animal services when they open tomorrow. Even if they don't they may have a low income voucher. My vet, healthy pets, provided the services for a 55 lb dog for just under $200. It was an additional $170 for private cremation. All costs are based on weight. I hope your animal will make it until then without further pain. My condolences to you and family.
They have euthanized a pet for me before, and they were very comforting/professional. I would suggest just to call them and talk about what your specific needs and requests are..every pet is unique. They will discuss with you your individual options. They did a wonderful job for my cat (my choice was to take my pet home and have a personal burial). They have helped with other family members and friends... Highly recommend thank you for your question!!
